   This is the worst place I have visited in my life. Came in with my friend for a drink. My friend said she was not really thirsty but she can sip from mine. The lad at the bar was very nice and gave us what we ordered. Then the owner or whoever he is said we needed to buy 2 drinks. We went ahead and order Coca-Cola in a bottle. Instead of saying we do not have a bottle, he brough a glass full of ice and a small can of Coca-Cola for a mixer. I politely said not that one but the one in a bottle. He took both drinks and said he was not going to serve us and we should leave. I have never been this shocked. You need to do better with your altitude. My friend said as soon as she saw him walk over, she knew he was not there to be nice to us and had already made up his mind we were not going to sit in his bar. If we had not seen a nice black security guard few days earlier while passing by, who said hi to us, we would have said the owner is pure racist. This is a shock but. We walked in there because the security guy was nice to us. Now we know not to every step foot there. Many other nice places to visit. I have seen their replies to other negative reviews but I really don't care. Sonething needs to be said.

   The security guards are rude especially if you are suffering from a disability no matter how minor. For example, someone in my party was deaf, and when they asked if any music was playing the security guards were sarcastic in the reply saying “no music is playing” and “oh what? You can’t hear it?”. No matter what type of disability you/someone have in you party has whether it is noticeable or not, I wouldn’t expect any forethought and curtesy from the security guards at the door, as they are rude, judgemental and ableist. The security guards were only apologetic after I pulled them both up on it and had a discussion about it. Do not go.

   This is a no nonsense sports bar and the only one in Beckenham (the others are masquerading as sports bars - no sound on TVs and pushchairs everywhere). The bar staff are brilliant and work hard, plenty of big screens with different sport catered for. I’m delighted to be kept safe by management taking security seriously..

   First of all, they play the same music playlist everyday, it gets boring if you go there the second time. Secondly, they don't even have a staff to collect the glasses, which results in full of messy and dirty tables everywhere. Lastly, they haven’t got a big space, so every time when they try to make money and let everyone in, you cant even get a drink because of small service area. To be more precise, I Do Not recommend you to go there at all.

   Patrick’s is my go to pub for live sports. It’s a great atmosphere with good beers and a clean bar. The staff are great and I usually find a couple of fellow customers to have a bit of a laugh and banter with about the game too. Exactly what you want from your local. I wish it was mine, I travel from lewisham to get there and it’s worth it every time!
