    Irish pub, tastefully renovated to keep its traditional pub vibe woth a dark but cosy feel. Guinness was great , poured by friendly bar staff . No hat allowed so make sure you've had ya Barnet trimmed before popping down for a pint . Good outside seating, heard the roasts are good too!

    Lovely pub! Service was friendly and efficient. The pub was clean both inside and outside. There is a terrace at the back with some table and booths. The booths are equipped with heaters so you can enjoy them during all seasons. Food was nice and portions were sufficient for a group of 4. Toilets were clean. I would recommend this pub for any type of event. You can enjoy a pint with friends, or a party with colleagues. They also have live music sometimes so check the board at the entrance for information.

    Best 'proper' pub in town. The staff are all great, always on it, friendly and welcoming. The pub itself has many superb architectural and decorative features. Food is always top rate, plentiful and good value. Live music regular too. Really warm and lively atmosphere in the evenings.

    Friendly staff. The place looks very nice. Good choice on the menu and the prices are mid range. Wasn't so keen on the pork bits in the sharer platter, just a bit too much fat but the rest was lovely. Very nice large outside beer garden too so perfect for summertime. Would recommend visiting!
