The miserable woman behind the bar needs to learn how to speak to people! The atmosphere in the pub with the punters is great, shame about misery guts! Will not be returning!

These pub needs a proper deep clean. I would like to go there more cause its local And they do nice karaoke and quizz nights but i feel like we cant stay inside the pub the air its so dusty, the carpet its so old and never be clean and just smells bad everywhere. I been there with friends in different occasionβs and they all share the same thought. Maybe the people who work there get used to with the smell but its definitely not normal.

Nice friendly pub, frequented by locals and visitors from afar. with lots of ornate decorations. Great entertainment with live bands and karaoke. The drinks are reasonably priced. Has the look of a country pub but is situated not far from Central Croydon. Well worth a visit.

Went for a friend's birthday. Had a lively evening thanks to the karaoke. Not impressed with how the bar staff spoke to one another!

Wow, what a pub this is! There arenβt many left like this in London, the interior and exterior are unspoilt and oh so beautiful for it. The pub is run by the longest serving landlady in London and it retains all the charm, warmth and comfort a proper pub should do. This pub has a real sense of community, never more apparent than on Sundays when itβs karaoke night. On top of that the beer is excellently kept, I had a few pints of Landlord that were in top shape and the Guinness is great too. Hopefully this pub survives in this manner for many years to come, itβs a welcome respite from the soulless, modern, βrefurbishedβ chain pubs that dominate Londonβs pub landscape. I just wish I lived closer.
