   Nice, cosy local pub proper traditional feel. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to, beers were good and prices fair for London. Relaxed atmosphere, good place to stop for a drink after work or at the weekend… I’d happily come back.

   A massive change has taken place. The pub has morphed from failing pub to a modern lounge restaurant serving freshly cooked food. Local rumours that it's now a strip joint are untrue and the blacked out windows do hide an expensive refurbishment. Looking more like a high end night club, an exciting new development and great night out.

   The space is divided into two sections by the bar counter. You can play billiards in one and chat in the other. Friendly service and relaxed environment.

   The Prince Edward, a proper locals local on Road. Fine range of keg beers, nothing spotted from the cask. Service is good and clearly a great place to come, chat and watch the football. Good people and a good pint.

   We stumbled upon this pub after visiting the arts factory up the road and it was a very welcoming atmosphere despite there being a big group of us. It's a nice mixture of ages here and is a friendly locals pub. My friend had a rather large boil on his neck which was popped at this very pub.

   A nice little pub with a friendly staff, many locals seem to enjoy their time drinking a beer... You can watch sports inside, or just seat and relax on couches. Beware of the lack of craft beers though.
