Beer is well kept. Bermonsey bitter is consistently good and malty. The meal just eaten was good and freshly prepared. My second visit in ten days and I shall return. Friendly staff and contented clients..
Really lovely and fun bar staff. Stopped here just for a quick pint they were friendly and chatty. Good selection. Would return for longer next time
My company hosted the evening entertainment for our annual festival at the London Hospital Tavern in 2024 and 2025. The upstairs space and facilities were absolutely perfect, with plenty of room and all the tech that we needed. On both occasions, staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcome, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We will be sure to come back if we need a venue in the area for a future event.
We held a work party in the upstairs room at the Hospital Tavern and it was brilliant! The events manager was fantastically helpful, service was brilliant, and the selection of food and drink available was fab, we didn't scratch the surface of the equipment available (mics, lights, sound etc!) but what we used was great. The pub is in a great location and has a really friendly, fun vibe... also nice late opening hours!
This place is a hidden gem and perfect being opposite White Chapel Station. The service and food were amazing. The menu has an option for everyone and the pub has a warm atmosphere that is also dog friendly.
Brought a couple of drinks here when the tube wasn't running. It's opposite Whitechapel stationz so easy to get to. Benches outside, inside nice cosy atmosphere. With table and chairs dotted around you can find a nice little corner or sit amongst the crowds. Good range of drinks. Pleasant bar staff. I liked it.
The food was great, has a warm feeling when you enter. The drinks were good. Food came out quickly, sad part we were there for happy hour but we never received our drinks at happy hour price. If you are looking for a quick drink. This tavern is located directly across the tube exit for white chapel.
The London Hospital Tavern is so much fun! Lovely staff combined with great beer + a big hospital next door if it all goes wrong. A great place to have a drink with all sorts of little things to make you smile. Loved the platinum beer stamps. I love the fact that they have camouflaged the fire alarm!
Lovely vibe since the management changed. The team seem like a family which makes the environment feel so welcoming. Good prices and a cracking pub quiz!
Decent pub, good craft beers and lager as well. Decor is a bit random but it's a good spot for a pint if you're visiting the Royal London Hospital.
