Rude and racist bartender, asked for a mocha got a very bitter black coffee (after paying £3.50). Guy was like “takeaway right?” Essentially kicking me out and being rude for giggles from his mates. Unwelcoming and racist. Do not recommend for POC.
Great, proper pub, doesn't do food. This is not a criticism.
It's a really welcoming local pub. Customers range from students to retired regulars and everyone in between. There's lots of events like the weekly pub quiz, karaoke and bands. Definitely recommend it.

A proper old school boozer. The coffee is priced, not to be had. The food is average. But the beers and community vibe make it a local favourite
