Nice little bar with good-priced drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. However, I wouldn’t recommend getting any food. Everything we tried was bland and tasted like it had been microwaved. The pie came out far too hot, as if it had been left in the microwave for way too long. Great spot for a drink, but definitely skip the food.

**RATING DOES NOT REFLECT FOOD** Service was super friendly & it was a great pub HOWEVER the food is best described as insulting. For £28, we got microwaved food. Disappointing to say the least.

Really enjoyed this low-key corner pub with a great name. The staff here today was super friendly and got my food out pretty fast as I had a matinee to catch. Good folks. The lunch special is a helluva deal for London. 11 quid for entree and soft drink or 13 with a pint. Good bang for the buck as we yanks say, although it's more fun to say quid for some reason. I had a steak sando with the small rocket salad and the sandwich was pretty solid -- I'd definitely go back. Fascinating neighborhood too. It's a winner 4.33333 if you crunch the #s....

Great pub in the heart of Soho. Had the Chicken BLT and a pint of Greene King IPA for lunch. Good portion, tasty sandwich, got my 'no mayo' order right. Pleased with an unexpected fresh rocket/ tomato side salad. Football on TVs but not too oppressive. Friendly staff.

Authentic pub, great if you are a football fan. Went in at about 1.30pm on a weekday, ordered the award winning (all pubs seem to claim such) pie and a pint of Guinness. The stout was cold, and the food warm. locals seem to go there, always a good sign. Quiet on a weekday, nice place to enjoy a meal. The meal cost me £22.

Great pub for watching sports in Soho. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff are attentive, so you're not waiting long at the bar. Often busy, but not as crazy busy as other pubs around

A lovely small pub in Central London which has fresh cooked food. The menu was limited but the food ordered was cooked to perfection. Polite staff and welcoming environment

Fabulous old London local. Has the look and feel you hope for in a local pub. Thanks too, to Javier for the friendly welcome and chat, which added to the pleasure of the visit. We all enjoyed our visit, including overseas friends, and the traditional pub food was also enjoyed by all.

Nice atmosphere to escape the crowd of Oxford Street. Food is delicious but it’s all self-service. Prices are quite good for the location!

Not allowed if you're with a baby... Edit: Thank you for your response. I can understand that for children who can walk - the liability for injury is too great to ignore. Now our case. My son is still a baby and can't walk yet. We only wanted a warm pub to have a pint or two with our friends, after we had lunch in a restaurant nearby. What upset me was the tone that the bartender addressed me with. He was rude. Almost implying that I'm not right in my mind and I should have known that I'm not allowed to bring my baby in. Maybe put a large sign on the door instead of shouting at me. We ended up in O'Neill's which had baby changing facilities too. In the end it worked out fine, after a long walk trying to find an open pub. BTW, your pub was the first that we got rejected from. We've been to numerous pubs with our son. Even during the world cup games.
