Run by a few lovely women. They provided excellent service throughout. The foot was great. The decor is warm, welcoming and festive. Also gave us good cig recommendations. Overall, no complaints and had a very nice time.
The service is exceptional and Mrs. Viorica is an amazing host, treating all the guests with a smile and delightful recommendations of drinks and excellent food. We felt so good that we have returned today. The atmosphere is cosy and warm. Totally loved it and we have decided to come back next days for good fish and chips. Mrs. Viorica recommended it so we will be happy to simply enjoy the time in the pub.
fantastic pub! the food was great, i got the steak and ale pie. there were a decent amount of draft beer options and i chose the madri which was tasty and cold. staff were kind and the service was quick. i will come back if i’m ever in london again!
What a 'right proper' English Pub for a beer and meal. This pub has some cubicles for sitting down and having a meal and a beer, while the social drinkers have standing tables. The service here was great and the food is magnificent! I had the pie while my girlfriend had the Turkey dinner. Both meals were great with plenty of flavour. The beers were great with plenty of choice. Good atmosphere which wasn't overly noisy and easy to have conversation. Highly recommend this place for a pub meal if visiting London.
Amazing Pub, we were looking for a traditional British ambiance with some fish and chips , we got what we wanted :) the pub is so cozy and the staff is very friendly, we ordered and the food arrived very fast, but even though it was very hot and we knew it was homemade, amazing chips, and fish!! Only downside… and this don’t deserve to be one point less, just a constructive suggestion, regarding the app to order, it was taking a few moments to download but you are able to just order at the register with the kind bartender ;) thanks again we will be back
The Grafton Arms on Strutton Ground is a fine, slightly old fashioned pub with a comforting homely feel to it. A good range of keg beers and potentially a great selection of cask ales, however only GK IPA on my visit was available. Good service and plenty going on. A fine place for a beer.
Revisiting the area on my own I was delighted to find the Grafton Arms. Excellent food (I'd steak skewer with chips etc) and a light ale. All for under €18. Super.
Unpretentious, friendly pub with good food and great historical significance. This was where radio comedy legends The Goons used to meet prior to their popular success. Happily the pub's decor pays tribute to its pasy.
Came in for lunch after walking London for several hours. The atmosphere is amazing. The seating. Incredible. The options for a drink were immense. Rating all this together is 5 stars. It was the food that was slightly disappointing. We did the bacon burger and it was underwhelming. Still it is a great place to sit and enjoy.
Don’t forget to buy another drink when you’re done in here (the washroom). Very much true because you do want to stick around and keep the beers flowing and the conversations rolling because this pub has everything you could ask for from a pub. Shame we only stopped for a bite and a quick drink (and a phone charge I may add).
