The Savoy Tap was next on our bar list of places to visit - it wasn't particularly busy, and first couple of choices of beers we couldn't have as they were changing barrels... pint consumed and we moved on...

Private function room on first floor as well as the gents toilet. Ladies on ground floor. Open window to street seating 4 people on the inside. Ledge for drinks for those standing on the outside.

A civilised choice tucked away from the local tourist traps. Neighbouring the hidden church with garden square at The King's Chapel of The Savoy, this side street pub is just off The Strand. The front windows literally open to the street from perimeter perch seats at the forefront of a discreet, handsome square bar with wood panelled walls trimmed with decorative patterned plaster. There's studded leather benches & stools & an upstairs saloon with additional bar. Cut glass flower bud walls lamps add to the civilised, heritage amongst local Savoy namesake heritage of this location synonymous with the hotel. A quieter, handsome pub with a well-behaved local London transient crowd, secretly meeting off the bustle of The Strand & Covent Garden.

A neat little pub tucked away down Savoy Street, The Savoy Tap, of the Shepherd Name stable is a good addition to Strand life. The pub is situated a few yards to the west of Waterloo Bridge. A range of both keg and cask beers on offer, served quickly and efficiently by the friendly staff. A bit of maintenance on the cellar hatch being undertaken on arrival, new hinges required! Good beer, good service and a most pleasant place for a drink. There is also a near duplicate bar upstairs, providing more seating for the thirsty.

This is a small friendly pub tucked away in a quiet side street just yards from the busy Strand. They have 4 cask beers but I opted for a Spitfire lager at a very reasonable £6. I was here at 5pm on a Tuesday afternoon and found it quite busy, mainly with locals. The service was very good. They do have an upstairs bar and function room.

Visiting this pub tucked away down a steep side street mid-afternoon on a weekday, I found this pleasant pub with its original features very quiet with plenty of seating. Good range of beers & snacks too.

Such a lovely pub. A great, bustling atmosphere and friendly staff, lovely drinks and just a nice time to be had, always. Will definitely be returning.

I had walked past this pub, in a side street down from the Strand, a number of times and this was my first visit. I'd like to return to stay a bit longer. The bitter was good, as was my friend's Guinness. There is another bar upstairs, but it was closed for a function on my visit. The Gents toilets are up the stairs and on the right. The WC is tiny! There's a Ladies upstairs in the other bar.

Nice little quaint pub just down a side street. Lovely staff who were quick to laugh. The Guinness was good and the Shepherd Neame Master Brew was as well
