   Fish and chips were good, but the fries were very oily and even had visible potato marks on them, so they could have been better. The Low & Slow Cooked Steak & Venison Pie was also enjoyable. As for the atmosphere, it was quite crowded and noisy, which is typical for a pub.

   For my point of view you’ve being an American. St James is a very popular place and I see why. The food is amazing and it’s just a relaxing place to get great cold beer and Fresh hot food. If you’re in the area definitely swing by for a cold one and the Fish and Chips it’s always Good.

   Eating at this establishment was great. I got the Passion Fruit Martini which tasted so good and sweet and the beef and venison pot pie was delicious. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a bar/pub establishment that also serves a variety of foods and drinks.

   Classic pub. Great beer selection. You can order on the QR code at your table and they serve half beers so you can try a few. The food menu looked decent, they had a few vegetarian options. Great location. Easy spot to grab a drink

   First ever time experienced authentic pub in UK, and I was delighted! Online reservation was needed because of central location in London near Piccadilly and good reviews...Staff was very nice and helpful. Ordering food and drinks at the bar and paying right away is a good thing. Crowded pub, delicious food, lovely desserts, fair prices... I can definitely recommend St James Tavern!

   Good portion of fish and chips. A must try! We also ordered fried calamari but portion kinda small but was good and tender. It was a busy mid-afternoon on 2/10/23. I want to thank the guys who stood up and cleared the table for me and hubby. They walked outside in the cold to finish their beers. Very kind!

   Best pub in London. Very friendly waiters. Leam was great and as sweet as he can be. Excellent pints and friendly crowd. We stayed for a week in Piccadilly and ended up going every nite. Food was excellent and my wife liked the fish and chips a lot. Thank you everybody for making it a memorable experience. We will be back!

   Great meal. Busy but the bouncer stopped it getting overcrowded. Meal was nice. It is a typical pub and pub grub. If you like that sort of thing, and we do, then you'll love it. Only gripe would be the toilets could do with freshening up. But when they have people walking in of the street to use them, I can understand why they don't bother.
