   Review based on this evening - end of schools evening, and Coombe Lodge had WAY over booked with not enough staff. An hour and 15 for food to arrive (see photo, definitely not worth the wait. The burger is the "Bacon eater", and looks nothing like the menu photo. Come on guys, do more "cook offs!!"). We had to get our own drinks from the bar. We could not order pudding as it was too late and we needed to get our one year old back to bed. So many children running around the place, it felt unrelaxing and I would not want to return after today's visit. A shame, as it used to be better when I worked there nearly a decade ago.

   I’ll start with the positives, there was a great variety of food at the buffet breakfast and good value considering that kids were free. However, the food stations were not kept clean and tidy with dropped food lying about. The staff were abrupt, bordering on rude but the restaurant was clearly understaffed so that didn’t help. The restaurant needs a complete refurb. The carpets were filthy and patched together and furniture in a sorry state. Our table was sticky when we sat down and chair seats stained with god knows what. Won’t be returning.

   It has only been reopened for a short while. Nice surroundings. Very efficient and helpful service. Enjoyed the food and recommended it for anyone in the area to try out.

   The beer is not good, flat and doesn't taste quite right. We've tried on 5 separate occasions, over a long period, hoping we just caught a bad day, but it doesnt seem to be the case. Disappointing. Lovely interior and peaceful garden (excluding the traffic noise) but it's not tidy very often which let's the pub down. Haven't tried the food, but it's a chain so I'd expect it to be pretty standard. Nothing for kids to do but enough space to run around.

   Nice and quiet spot if you ever want a chilled meal with friends and family. Reasonable prices for food + the garden area is great in the summer. The mixed grill is good deal is you like steak. And they have plenty of other vegan/veggie alternatives.

   Always love to go here with family. Good atmosphere and ample parking. The breakfast is amazing. Only thing is the wait time for food is a little long on busy days.

   Celebrated a 92 birthday and it was good! We were a party of over 30 and had our own room. The staff were well organised and Freya looked after us beautifully. Thanks also to her colleague who helped at times. The food and drinks were great and we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus about the location is that it was just next door to Coombe Gardens where we could take photos. Overall, a very good way to celebrate an event. Thanks and great job to the staff. We look forward to returning.

   No other way to say it but the food is awful. Had smothered chicken and ordered a side of hallomi fries followed by the cookie dough with ice cream. The menu boasts quality bbq sauce and specialist cheese as well as triple cooked chips and house slaw. What a disappointment!!! The hallomi fries were rubbery and salty. As for the cookie dough more like over cooked cookie with dust thrown all over it. Go find a McDs rather than this place! Only positive was the staff!

   Very reasonable price . The food is good or standard. I like the chicken rings not in butter which is more tasty. Only mistake is a waitress she over charge me . But I ask another waitress to help.
