This has now become my local due to the George Wetherspoon closing in Wanstead. Staff are friendly, food comes quick and its hot. Decent prices with pint of Guiness only Β£3.70 a pint and Β£3.24 on a Monday. See alot of ex George clientele in here and the atmosphere is good. Its also close the the Central line. The Walnut Tree also has a small garden with seats. Its a little gem tucked into a busy high st in East London.

This was a very nice experience. Large pub with outdoor seating too. No parking but Tesco & McDonald's across the road with access. Food was consistent with Wetherspoons. Service was fast. Traditional vibe in there. Lots of good people. We need to keep these establishments open.

Took just over an hour to walk from Yhe King's Ford to this one. Very good pint of Purity Free Rein and unlimited coffees for less than Β£4 in total. Pleasant service and a nice beer garden. Close to bus stops and train.

I am a regular at Walnut Tree have been going for several years. With my wife, family or friends. Nice big pub, friendly staff and locals. Outdoor seating area for smokers. Food is great value, large portions. Drinks cheap

Nice family place. Only disappointment is the food. Order a ramen noodle bowl for Β£9.89 and it was disgusting. Asked for the food to be replaced and the manager (Morgan) refused saying and I quote, there is nothing we can do about it if you donβt like the food. I was surprised to hear those words coming from a manager. As follow are the pictures of what they advertise and what you actually get. I wouldnβt give that to my dog

Large space, friendly and peaceful atmosphere. Classic pub food and service. Ideal for spending time over a sport match o to have a pint without worrying about your wallet. The manager itβs really caring walking around keeping an eye on everybody needs cracking jokes and being genuinely welcoming. Also the waitress was really nice and caring!

The food was not very good quality chocolate brownie rock hard Everyone who works there acts like they would rather be somewhere else instead. It shows in both the service and the food.

12.11.2022 My friends and me were sitting and waiter brought 9 drinks which we didn't order. Manager demanded from us to pay for drinks and after this he wanted take this drinks for which we had to pay. When we were disagreed. Manager brought security and demanded leave this place. And they ruined my friend's birthday. I'm asking to release the manager

Look at the size of 6oz American burgerβ¦If I took 3oz I would be extremely disappointed. Both burgers were dry-grilled literally and also chips overcooked. Tbh I didnβt enjoy this burger. Mayo sachets really hard to open up , they should be replaced all. Something wrong goes on with Wetherspoon those days. Since I tried it first time in 2006 things got 2nd quality cause also Sunday breakfast I had 2 weeks ago here was also dried out a bit. 5 years ago the full English breakfast was delicious here as I used to bring my family here on holidays. The waitress came along to ask if everything was ok but I was too embarrassed to say the truth about this meal on 05/11/22 at 16:03,as itβs nothing to do with her of course.
