I love this place. It has several rooms where they hold different events throughout the week. It's really well organized, and I love being able to play darts. They have great deals on alcoholic drinks, including their own beer, which is very good. The only thing I don't really like is the DJ in the main room; he always plays the same set of music. He doesn't really act like a DJ, and my recommendation is that he change the DJ every week. Otherwise, for those of us who live in the area, it gets a bit tiring always hearing the same music. Aside from that, I'm very happy to have this place so close and to be able to enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks. Highly recommended for families and friends.

I attended the Winedrops Live event last night and overall had a really good time! A couple of things to note though — it was a bit strange that I had to sign up for the Winedrops membership (over £100 per year) just to be able to use the tokens that came with my ticket. I bought my ticket the day before for half price (£20 per person), which was a nice bonus. On arrival, we got stamped and received our glass of wine. Inside, the setup was great — you could go to any stand, scan the barcode, and try wines through the app. That part worked really smoothly. However, as someone who doesn’t know much about wine, it would’ve been helpful if the descriptions included the sweetness level. Food options were quite basic. The map mentioned a BBQ stand, but instead there were pizzas and burritos. We tried the pizza (£11 each), which was actually delicious. The entertainment was good too, with live music adding a great vibe. Overall, a fun night out and worth going — just a few tweaks could make it even better!

Massive industrial warehouse. Big bar. Order food from qr table. Pizza, fries, etc. food good. Vast outside space. On our visit they had created a beach (Walthamstow on Sea). Lots of events. Great place for family fun and large gatherings.

Hi Big Penny Social, I just wanted to share some honest feedback about the recent Aperol Beach Party — unfortunately, it ended up being a real letdown. The event didn’t open until 6:30pm, half an hour late. When we finally got in, there was no ice available for the first hour, so the complimentary Aperol drinks couldn’t be served. Instead, we purchased warm lemonade. Even more frustrating, the beach bar was charging £7.50 for two small 150ml cans of the warm lemonade — about half a pint. Later on, we were able to get two full pints with ice for £7.40 inside the venue. Why such a huge difference in price and quality? We had to return those pints, too, because they tasted like water — though, to be fair, they were replaced without fuss. The entertainment didn’t match what was advertised either. The DJ started much later than expected, and the music at the start was awful indie — not the soulful house, soul, and funk that was promised. The decent music kicked in gone 7pm, and even then the sound was distorted through the speakers. Overall, it didn’t deliver what was promoted. I usually really enjoy this venue, but this event felt chaotic and disorganised. The one saving grace was we met some lovely people on the night but unfortunately virtually no atmosphere there. But I genuinely can’t understand how things went so wrong. I’m coming along to one of your comedy nights soon and really hope it’s better run. If this is the standard for events, it’s no surprise there were so few people there — maybe around 50? It’s such an amazing space with real potential. I’ve worked with clubs and venues for decades, and honestly, this place deserves better promoters and entertainment managers to do it justice.

It's a great venue but my experience was a little spoilt on the lack of organisation for watching the football. Not very clear communication and had to move room to watch the game twice. Beer is OK but slightly pricey. Games were free and good fun though.

AMAZING open beer hall for shows and gathering with friends. Great open back patio for nice weather. Ordering is slick and easy with a quick scan on your phone and food and drinks are served quickly. All the drinks are perfect, if their type suits your fancy. The Friend Cauliflower and the veggie meatballs are INCREDIBLE bar fare and really hit the spot 2 or 3 drinks in. I'll definitely be back for more hang outs here.

Cool, massive space with good atmosphere - great for groups. £5.50 for a pint of lager or get a good deal on a four pint pitcher for £22. Drinks took about 15-20 minutes to arrive (although they did warn us so wasn't a big deal). There's a good range of food, with pizzas, burgers and Asian dishes. We had a few different burgers between us, which arrived within a very speedy five minutes, and all were decent and cost around £13 with some chips.

Really nice local brewery, prices are a little high for the beer and the amount of food you get, however, the food and beer have been great all the times we've been. Loads of space indoor and outdoor. Service can take a while if it's really busy. Attended a flea market here not long ago which was awesome! Tip is automatically added to your online order when you pay, you can change it.
