Absolutely disgusting customer service,was charged £30 over for a rug , many emails and phone calls later I had to travel 2 hour round trip to sort this out , so I returned both rugs and other items I had bought ,will Never shop there again
The range was fine but... BEWARE... the estate it sits in is one that you must pay for parking... Coming here for the first time I had no idea and didn't even consider it
Visited the store today (approximately 2 hours ago) and purchased a mirror at almost £80 to get home unpack it to find that the glass is smashed on the left bottom corner. Tried to call the store 3 times and just left ringing for 5 minutes before the line goes silent. I’m due to be in work now until Saturday, so I’m unable to bring it back till then for a swap or refund. It’s really poor that with the amount of staff we saw in the store today but not one can answer the phone!
There was a lovely lady who was at the till scanning our items. We did not get her name but she was youngish and European looking with lipstick on. She was so chatty and kind to us and was so helpful offering us bubble wrap for a light we brought. If the manager sees this please thank her for us!
Only went to pick up a couple of travel mugs. Mainly cheap tat although I was tempted with these two items for strange reasons
Loads of lovely things but the actual furniture is abit of a let down. I had seen some lovely coffee tables online so I wanted to see them but they only had 2 of the most expensive ones so I decided to go elsewhere
Had a lovely visit to the store this week, we had a coffee and scone in the cafe which were amazing. The staff in the range were super helpful and also the guy iceland who went out of his way to help me. Lots of collections, reasonable price, lovely atmosphere. Will definitely visit again
Really well stocked, massive selection of home furnishings and household goods. Nice little Iceland section too. I paid for parking and I think it's free after 5pm so check first!
It's rare I visit the peel center, I have issues with the parking eye that operates here. I visited the range on the off chance looking for a specific kids gem painting book which I'd bought previously from a diff store (not the range) and they had one. It has a large and varied stock, most things you'd expect if you know the range. Pictures, orniments, bathroom kitchen,garden and seasonal arts and crafts etc. There is a freezer food section too and a cafe. Staff are always friendly and helpful when I've visited.
I did some Christmas shopping here on 9th December. Was charged £4.99 for a product that should have cost me £2.50. Long queue for the Customer Service desk and I showed evidence of the £2.50 price tag. Instead of refunding me £2.49, Lydia, the person on the customer service desk actually charged me an additional £2.49, meaning I have paid three times the cost of the product. Surely someone eho is manning a customer service desk should have been given training on how to issue refunds rather than charging more money adding to the profits of a company who has already ripped me off. Have tried to resolve by emailing The Range customer care team, however despite advising I do not live in Stockport, I keep getting told that I need to return to the store with my receipt to resolve the matter. Shocking that the customer has to spend more time and money resolving an issue which should be easy for the Customer care team at head office to resolve having already been provided with evidence and receipts. Avoid!
