We had the best Sunday lunch here today! Such a lovely pub and the staff were great. The roasts were fantastic! Good big portions and everything was delicious. Fair drinks prices. Would be delighted to return here!

A proper hidden gem with real London character and a bit of movie history too! Fans of Kingsman: The Secret Service will instantly recognise it as the pub from the iconic “Manners maketh man” scene, and it still has that same classic charm inside. It’s a cosy, welcoming spot with a great atmosphere, and they serve a lovely pint of Harvey's Best on draught, kept perfectly. Exactly what you want from a traditional London pub, good beer, good vibes, and a bit of cinematic magic thrown in.

The Black Prince is a great local pub and sports bar with plenty of screens to watch a variety of sports, there's even one in the garden. We've been a few times on a Sunday as they service an excellent roast and the Pork Lion is the massive so you'll never leave feeling hungry. The staff are wonderful and always happy even when its busy. I highly recommend a visit.

Went here on a Sunday and had an incredible Sunday lunch. Staff are friendly and we had a couple of pints of Cruz campo. We both had the roast, I had chicken and he had the pork. Both were large portions. Massive yorkshires! Both were super tasty and good quality meat. The pork belly looked so good as you can see in the photos. Has screens for sports and a great decor from the 80’s. Has been the film set for a few places. Will 100% go again

Great pub with local charm. Had steak and ale pie, which was fantastic. My wife had fish and chips which she also loved. Would definitely recommend if you want local pub experience.

Found us a table after being let down elsewhere and can honestly say this was one of best Sunday lunches I’ve had in a long while. Highly recommended. Good beers too!

Amazing pub that offers American football. The owner and bar keeper were accommodating in every way. We visited on our last night before returning to the States and this friendly, quaint location couldn't have been better. We met the nicest people and enjoyed sitting by the fire. We were informed by the locals that the Kingsman had been filmed there. Fabulous experience!

I went to the black prince today for a family Sunday lunch. During Covid you worry about whether it's safe to go to the pubs etc. However it was clear to see that they have taken control of the situation perfectly. The tables were continuously cleaned, there were facemasks at the door in case you'd forgotten it, the toilets checked regularly and I even saw the staff check their temperature, the care taken shows that they care about the staff and their customers. The waitress knew exactly who was arriving and had a list of reserved tables the communication between her and the kitchen was brilliant. When moving around the pub you had to wear your mask but when seated with your family and eating it was fine to remove it. On arrival I was greeted by all staff members in the pub, in particular Jazeena was extremely friendly and helpful, she is certainly an asset to the pub. As mentioned above we had the Sunday lunch, between us we had the pork belly, lamb and chicken and these were all absolutely beautifully prepared, the food was delivered to the table hot and the service was efficient and effective. We were asked if we needed anything further and if we were enjoying the meal and even got a doggy bag to take home. We all left completely content. The atmosphere was pleasent and family friendly, there was a TV for the sports fans and some music playing at a reasonable level too. An ideal place to take the family. 5 stars from us. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you very much for a pleasent afternoon.
