   Greats location, better pub but brilliant staff. Spoke with Kieran the manager while we were waiting for food. He was a lovely, friendly chap, he was brilliant with my kids. His local knowledge was brilliant, we were in the area for my son’s football match. The food was tops. I had the burger as did the wife and the kids were plenty full with the child’s portions being so generous. The price was really reasonable, for a family of 4 we spent under £80, it was 2 adult & 2 kids meals, including kids ice-cream, a bottle of wine and 4 J2os I’ll definitely pop in when I’m back on the area. Thanks again Kieran, I promised you a great review ;)

   Came here when visiting family. Glorious old building housing a warm & friendly pub. The food is typical but very well done pub fayre & the beer is very well kept. Value for money on the food is also excellent. A very good pub that does what pubs should do. We will be back

   Lovely pub in the heart of Petts wood. Very good service and quick. Good for couples friends and family. Suitable for everyone. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Especially the manager Chloe she’s lovely. Your Allowed to take your dogs and they even supply treats and water for your pets. Ian and Elaine the owners are amazing and always say hi. We have always had a lovely time here and will continue to return. Drinks are also reasonably priced and the food is very tasty. I have nothing negative to say about this pub.

   We use the Daylight’s function room every week for a business networking meeting. The staff are helpful and welcoming. As we are there it would be rude not to stop for the occasional working lunch, and I have to say I haven’t been disappointed.    Pub that shows sport, serves great food and delivers top pints! What more could a man want! Specifically the bar staff of Faye, Chloe and Harry deliver perfect pints and make you feel very welcome! Very much recommended!

   Always a good atmosphere here, some screens too for sporting events. Update 2022 - Still a nice venue but paid £11.60 for two shandies yesterday. That's essentially full price (£5.80 per pint) for two halves of beer topped up with lemonade from the tap. Steep - sorry but price is an element and I'm docking a star for now.

(Impressive Covid 19 Regulations and Sanitising followed in the Pub by Staff and Hand gels placed in all areas).
