A wonderful hidden gem of a pub. My friend lives nearby and had never been. After my long journey from Essex it was just what I needed. The pork belly and pint of Adnams Broadside were fantastic. I found it via a recommendation on the London Pubs Facebook group. Also very good value for money for the area.

A real pub with music that you can talk and not be drowned by the music, great beer, great food, great atmosphere. Great local great owners

Popped in one sunny afternoon for a couple of lager. This pub used to be one of the worst in Eltham years ago but now has definitely re-established its self as one of the better pubs in the area. Decent pint of Heineken served at reasonable prices. Lovely, polite friendly staff. Nice interior and plenty of outdoor seating. No kids or work clothes! One complaint is that the gentleman's loo is covered in Vaseline! Yeh ok i understand why they do this but didn't appreciate it covering my Β£1700 Samsung fold phone after I placed it on the toilet roll dispenser! Maybe don't assume everyone is indulging whilst they visit the cubicle!

A gem of an old tradition pub! Friendly & happy bar ladies. Good selection of real ale on hand pumps. Very reasonable prices. Cool, relaxing interior with outdoor seating in the front & rear gardens. Will definitely visit here again.

The Park Tavern is a lovely little pub just off from Eltham High Street in Eltham. I don't know why it's called the Park Tavern as I don't know of any parks nearby. They have a good range of wines and beers and a real fire for when it's cold in winter. They have a very pleasant garden too, for when it's warm in summer. The staff are always friendly and polite and the whole pub has a quiet atmosphere so you can relax with your drinks.

Always love going to the park tavern, it's warm and friendly and the Cheesy chips are the best and they serve the best Guinness.

Not much atmosphere. Felt like being in the committee room of a very dull golf club. Five ales on draught. Tried two of them and they were both very disappointing. The so-called golden ale was lifeless and watery. Not sure how they are listed in the good beer guide.

We love the park tavern, it’s such a small cozy pub and the staff are friendly. The winter is a wonderful time to visit as they have their fire roaring & then throughout the year you can play the board games they have there for everyone’s use.
