Great pub - not many like this in the area. The beer selection is good, with a nice range of choices for different tastes. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet pint of cider to cure a hangover. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Joe and all the staff. It was a very last minute decision to go to the pub and they kindly accommodated us for a family celebration. I am El from Malaysia, my friend Mr Tom Preston and his wife Cat brought us to this wonderful place for a few beers! Everyone seems having a crazy time singing and dancing even the kids!Overall highly recommend place to hangout with friends and family no problem even if you wanna bring your kids in i guess!
Good local pub. Attracts a wide range of different customers from all walks of life. Could do with a slightly wider range of drinks.
My first time here and had a Great new year and all the staff behind the bar made us and our friends welcome. Will 100% use this pub on a more regular basis.
We were really not satisfied at all. The "hotel" was dirty and one of our two booked rooms was not made. Also the garbage of the previous guests was still in the trash can, towels were not there and toilet paper was also not replenished. When we asked, the lady from the pub only said that she is not responsible for this. Rooms were totally cold and additionally every single word from the pub can be heard from downstairs. One day there was a live act and it was so loud that the floor even vibrated. I can really only advise against this hotel.
Booked The Summerfield for my brother's wake following the funeral at Hither Green Crematorium. Joe was easy to contact, understood our requirements completely and laid on a fantastic buffet for the 35 guests. The pub had great atmosphere, the staff were friendly and attentive and all the guests left extremely well "fed and watered". Highly recommended.
