   Never been to this place before. I made the mistake of asking if they had any craft beers and I was told in no uncertain terms that they didn’t know what “craft beer” means. Not a nice place.

   Rudest welcome I’ve ever received on entering an establishment. Turned on my heels and left as quickly as I arrived, despite that being the result, that the rude bar lady wanted. Very nasty vibe.

   Nice atmosphere and friendly bartender. Food was a bit basic and a little bit expensive for what it was, however I would come back (and try something different). What would make this place better is to have the kitchen stay open until much later rather than 19:45.. overall, nice place to sit and chill with friends etc. Toilets are clean too which is a bonus.

   The manager (presumably) of the Hub has the customer service skills of Basil Faulty. Honestly, does she imagine her business will survive with that attitude? We live locally and are happy to travel further for a beer as the atmosphere is shocking. Could be so good under new management.

   The Hub has by far the best served pint in Debden. I was there for a post wedding ceremony get together and the quality of service and beer was top notch. Awesome value for money also. They were also serving food and it seemed very popular and also looked to be very generous portions. I will definitely visit again and eat also.
