The Prince George is a nice pub. Close to Dalston high st, this pub offers a more laid back, suburban pub feel. Busy most nights, it offers a good range of beers and other drinks, plus a broad selection of bar snacks. The fries and cheesy chips were both very pleasant. The pub is decked out with the kind of stuff you would expect in such a place. Staff are friendly and amenable here. There is free pool on Tuesdays. The outside area closes at 9:30 which makes the inside area very busy at this time, grab a seat inside before this if you want one.

This place is a real gem. Still keeps its old school feel, but with exceptional food and service. Despite being packed to the rafters, the staff had a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. They sell 'Stone and Wood' which is a rare find these days. All the starter snacks were amazing, especially the corn, then mains of pork and burgers were well sized and felt home made. Then we had a cake and they gave us plates/spoons at a fast rate. Hospitality is a tough gig, so want to thank all the staff for their hard work and fab customer service !!

Great local boozer with passable beers for an independent pub, so after being a irregular for years I have tried the roast for the first time and well I wish I had known how good it was, great value everything on the plate was cooked to perfection, my friend just said that now they could die as the devoured they’re pork roast which was a generous portion to say the least gravy was on point too. Highly recommend

The food was delicious! A little overpriced as this is a pub, but it’s marketed as a hipster pub so ig thats where the inflated price comes in. But we got the nachos (completed in pic), cod & chicken burger. It was gooooood. It had nice flavor & the nacho cheese was not dingy at all, but tasted like proper melted cheese. As 2 big eaters, this was enough to get us full and satisfied. We did end up getting the toffee cake with ice cream later and that was really nice too! Food was 10/10. Loved that the chips were already salted, fish had seasoning and flavor, and you can actually taste the ingredients.

If you're looking for somewhere to host a party then look no further! We had our wedding reception here for about 60 people in the function room upstairs and had a truly wonderful time. We pre-ordered food and drinks which were set up for our arrival and everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to Joe and the team :) Also the room is beautiful with bunting and fairy lights, so we didn't even need to worry about decorating. All round great vibes, great food, great crowd.

We had a roast here last Sunday and it was great. They accommodated my request for a child’s portion as I wasn’t massively hungry which they don’t usually do. It was all great (i had the pork) although the beef was a bit tough on my friends plates. The veggies were great but the potatoes were a tiny bit hard. I think this is due to the set up for Covid (which felt very thorough) as it all came out rather fast we thought maybe they have it already under a heat lamp to ensure quick turnarounds for customers which we were fine with as it was all really yummy still. The gravy was a high point for me. Gravy can make or break a roast and theirs was really rich and lovely. The house wine was good and the staff provided a good service. It has a nice atmosphere with a lot of cute nooks and crannies with wild flowers on the tables. The toilets could do with a spruce up if I had to say anything. Good outside area too

Cosy and lovely pub with great deco. The beer selection was second to none. I enjoyed the atmosphere while eating a Halloumi burger. It felt safe Covid-wise: not too crowded, table service, and friendly / attentive stuff. All in all, it floats my boat.
