Thank you Coborn yesterday for a lovely meal. Popped in to celebrate a birthday event in memory of my uncle Stan who absolutely loved this pub. The manager had it spot on with his kindness which reflects for the staff who work there. We look forward to many more visits at this lovely pub.

Have never been to the East End of London for a meal before but meeting friends staying at the local Travelodge. This restaurant came up as the ideal place to eat to expedience East End food. The meat pie with liquor, peas and potato was delicious, but could have used more liquor. Should have asked for more!

We popped I for Sunday roast. One of the best places for service and food quality in the area. Roast is reasonably priced £22 for beef and £17 for vegan (i think the chicken is £20). Overall very good, we are here regularly. They take both cash and card payments.

Booked here for Sunday lunch. Lovely busy pub, family friendly. We had a table in the conservatory which was lovely. Ordered two roast dinners- pork belly and roast beef. The pork belly was fine but the beef was a little fatty so couldn't eat one of the slices. Was told that this can happen sometimes. Didn't enjoy the beef at all and so wished I'd had the chicken. The cauliflower cheese was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was sitting in a very oily sauce which looked liked it had split. We declined that. The staff comp'ed our drinks which was a nice gesture for the fatty beef.

The atmosphere and design of the place are fantastic! Our food took a little while to arrive, but we weren't in a rush. It was clear that the food was delivered with love. A big thank you to Juliet and the team for being so accommodating! We appreciated it!

I had dinner on Saturday afternoon with my two sons. Food and service good despite being busy with the world Cup game. Good selection of beers and spirits. Mac cheese and sausage roller starter in the images.

A very good pub for Sunday roast. Probably the best staff experience I've had in a long time. Incredibly friendly, attentive, respectful. Couldn't praise the team more. The roast was hit & miss. The veg is really where this roast shines. The cauliflower cheese is some of the best we've ever had, and the buttered cabbage and carrots were divine. I felt my beef was rather tough & dry, but it was made up for with a large Yorkshire & lashings of gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was certainly not a disappointment, while the hazelnut pudding & ice cream was ok. Reasonably priced menu, good wine selection, good staff. Would recommend, if a bit out the way.

A very pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff and good beer. A great venue just east of mile end station. Another visit another day, post Brexit and hopefully post plague, a great place for a drink and /or eat depending on your wants. Lovely staff as always. Always worth a visit!

Had a lovely time at here. We booked inside as it was too hot outside. Really glad we did as there is not a lot of shade outside (!!) we were greeted with a warm welcome on arrival, shown to our table (we actually got to choose ourselves). Drinks ordered by another friendly staff member and shown the menus. On such a hot day we didn't want a main meal and thought we would graze on starters. Boy what a great idea! I can heartily recommend pork and black pudding sausage roll, chorizo scotch egg, triple cooked chips and the warm camonbear (forgive my spelling). The food and accompanying service was wonderful. In fact the food was so good I didn't have time to take photos as it was demolished in minutes. 3 of us spent an afternoon there with wine and spirits in an unhurried environment totally stuffed and well watered for £30/head well worth it. I took pictures of the menu as the only thing left :)
