Wow... My head has been blown clean off... Outstanding friendly staff, great prices on draught beer for the area and ridiculously good value on bottles with a huge selection.. You could drink yourself around the world here.. It's amazing! Well done to the owner and staff... And thank you... I'll be back!

I was very pleased to see the excellent selection of lambics here - it must be one of the best in London. The staff are very patient at explaining the nature of lambic and how carbonation may vary between producers and bottles - hopefully the public catches up soon.

Disappointed at what this place has become. Had to ask for change of glass 2 times for my first beer; because the first glass had a brown lumpy stain inside, the second lipstick on it. The staff also seemed displeased to change glasses, when it's clear cleanliness needs to improve. We then got a bottle of cassis tilquin and when we commented on it it being completely flat they refuse to swap the bottle and suggest we pay half price for a new one. The staff said "there's nothing wrong with it"; well, it's supposed to be carbonated and it wasn't. The color was off, brownish; and it definitely had an off taste, not like cassis at all. When the bartender opened it there also wasn't any pop and the cork smelled off. Unusual for a lambic bottle. So it's likely the seal failed and it's oxidized. I don't know if this poor service is due to a lack of knowledge by the staff or just a bad customer service. The staff member also said "have you had if before", as to question my judgement, but I doubt he actually has tbh. We ended up not drinking the bottle and leaving. I have worked in the beer industry for many years and been drinking beer for longer. I'm not sure why they're gaslighting customers and refusing to swap a small lambic bottle of £18, which is overpriced to begin with.

Awesome bar. Very short walk from Hackney Wick station. Or a slightly longer one from Stratford. First of all, the selection of beer is enormous. Cans in fridges are split up into different styles so you can quickly choose your beer by looking at what you’re favourite style is. I can’t remember how many taps there was but there was lagers, IPAs, DIPAs, stouts and a sour. Just an incredible selection and the staff really seemed to know what they were talking about when talking beer! Also had a German pretzel which was great. Warmed and served in butter with mustard. Served to the table. Back soon!

My partner and I were stopped here by the barbecue smell from the burger van in the courtyard. We ended up enjoying some burgers and beer in this lovely pub. There is a cold food counter in the pub too, had I known, I probably would have ordered some food from the pub too.

Love it here and it's now been the second time I have been here with friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I love the dog friendly chilled atmosphere here. There is a large selection of beers to choose from whether it be a beer on tap or there is a large selection of beers in cans or bottles. The cheese board here is amazing, there is also other food like pork pies that are great too. In the evening there is a burger van outside that does great food too. Definitely recommend a visit here

A great place to visit for drinks. Sit outside, drink beer or cider, pick some specialties from the fridge, share some knowledge with the bar people (shout out to Dan), meet some cute doggies, meet interesting people. Voila. Perfect night.

If Disney and the World Cup merged into the beer category, the result would be Beer Merchants Tap. So many good beers, affordable prices, good atmosphere, great food outside. Definitely a place that you should visit in East London.

Hands down the best craft beer shop in east London! Friendly staff, a cool industrial atmosphere and most importantly a massive variety of craft beer! It can be a little pricey but is usually worth every penny. They have a bunch of draft taps constantly on rotation along with hundreds of cans and bottles. Highly recommended for anyone who likes craft beer with good vibes!
