This pub has a really nice environment for many occasions, whether that’s just enjoying a casual Sunday roast on a sunny summer, grabbing a pint to watch a football game, or eat a burger and play some games. Staff is generally nice and helpful.

A great gastropub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and the service reflects that. The food is decent, though I’m not entirely convinced it justifies the price. Overall, I really do love this pub β€” it’s got a fantastic vibe, even when it’s empty!

Had lunch post a bday party this Sunday. Impressive child friendly place, we had 5 toddlers and a baby and had a good experience. The venue is big, ambience is good, and they have a lift which made moving strollers upstairs very easy. Given our group size of 5 families, food took a long time to be brought out which was expected. They had a reasonable kids menu, which was prioriotised to be brought first. Fish and chips was delicious, crisp and fresh. The sirloin sunday roast had good portions but was a bit dry, so was less impressed. The restaurant run a kids club with toys and colouring and activities which was really good! A staff member sat with the kids (plus parent) and ran zingo and our boys had a good time!

For a long time I have been a regular customer, and my favourite dish was fish and chips. Unfortunately, the quality has significantly declined over the past few visits. I have recommended this place in the past because it was very tasty, but I am very disappointed now. The fish on these visits has not been fresh and has even smelled as if it were expired. Management were quick to resolve the issue by offering to cook a replacement or provide a refund. Today, a friend and I were served an overcooked fish. After speaking with management, we were told that the oil was old and would not be replaced, and therefore a refund was offered. I accepted the refund, but I would urge the owners to pay closer attention to their customers. If you want to retain customers, you must maintain the high quality of your food. Customers should be aware that the fish is not always fresh. As this has happened a few times now, I suspect they are attempting to sell expired fish rather than discard it. On the other hand, the venue is lovely and the staff are polite. I hope the quality of the food improves. Thank you.

Came here for an evening meal and was pleasantly surprised that the food was very good. Nice clean place in a great location and service was good. The chicken wings are definitely a highlight here but everything we had tasted fresh. Highly recommend coming here for good food.

Local pub. Good decorations. Friendly staff, not all of them though. Second floor is always closed unless first is full (big minus). In general food is nice and good choice of drinks. Wish the prices were a bit more generous. It’s understandable that it’s only place to drink in area but for sure it will attract more people if you want to invite friends to this detached area if it was a bit less pricey. Also I would highly recommend managers to talk to bartenders about not using drinks that was not sold to someone for newly arrived customers.

My friend and I had a pleasant lunch here on Sunday. Good venue with a nice view. It was very busy so I would recommend booking. We had the beef & pork roasts (see photos). I enjoyed the beef. My friend found the pork chewy and the crackling wasn't crispy so she will choose something else next time. Overall we had an enjoyable afternoon.

I found a lovely gastro pub on the river side. I went there and took a Sunday roast. I believe they have a good chef in their kitchen. The fried squid is nice. The Focaccia is better any other an Italian restaurant. Of course, the roasted aged beef is awesome!! The staff is very kind and friendly. I will definitely back again soon.
