   A well deserved rest after quite a hike down from car park at the top. Cosy little country village pub. They do serve food but we didn’t eat. Muddy boots and dogs welcome. Friendly atmosphere. Outside has seating but limited. Selection on beers were low as this pub is going to be under new management soon. Will try and visit again and see if any change has happened.

   A great pity that this nice old pub is serving such poor food probably supplied from an outside catering wholesaler such as Brake Brothers or whatever. Certainly not fresh nor home cooked. The result is old-fashioned tasteless food from the nineteen 60s or 70s. And my glass of Chardonnay was acidic and very poor. Don't waste your time !

   I went with a large group yesterday. We had pre ordered. The food arrived promptly and was greatly appreciated by everyone. Generous portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly helpful staff.

   Had a Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks back. I had to have the all meats Sunday roast despite it being a hit summers day! It was fantastic. Meats were plenty full as were the roast potatoes which were cooked perfectly. Excellent value for money to. Drinks reasonably priced and a great selection. Definitely worth a visit.

   First visit today, booked a table which I would recommend and it was pleasantly busy. The food was good quality, good portion size and tasty. Slightly small menu but a good range of pub grub. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Would recommend.

   Popped in on a Saturday at lunch time (we had booked and glad we did) and pleased to find somewhere for some food after a long walk. The menu felt a bit limited but everything we ate was very tasty so you can't really fault that. The portions were also very generous and the staff friendly despite being short staffed on the day

   Cute little pub with a couple of nice ales, a bunch of mainstream lagers, and friendly staff. Warm, cosy, and buzzing on this Saturday afternoon. I’ll be back to settle in with food and a few pints, sometime.

   First of all, I was impressed with this beautiful pub for it's diverse music playlist! They were playing a R&B song which had rap in it. We only had drinks there. Since I had a Guinness in Ireland, I had to try one in an English pub. Touring Kent, made me feel like I was in some of the English shows/series that I've watched. It was absolutely, beautiful and charming!

   Always a great homely meal & atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Dinning offers on different days (OAP, fish supper etc). Pub quiz every other Sunday.
