   Go for a Christmas meal it is very good. Lovely prompt and perfect service given to our table. We pre ordered our meal choices and we all enjoyed our Turkey meals (pre Christmas treat) and our sweet choices, -yummy!. Compliments to the team. Very lovely interior and they also have garden tables should our weather improve! Would be pleased to return again. No photos - too busy enjoying our lunches! Many thanks.

   The Yacht is a brilliant local with a really welcoming vibe. The team are always super helpful and friendly, and the food is absolutely yum and cheap too! Karaoke nights are loads of fun, the weekly quiz is a great laugh, and there’s always a good atmosphere. Love it here and will keep coming back!

   Edit - Monday 18th August 2025 Thanks for your reply Sue - when I went indoors to grab some napkins, the server was doing something else, and saw me, so I said I'm just grabbing some napkins. She just nodded. But no mention of she'll get me some wipes. When we'd finished starters, I went to the bar for more drinks, and said I think the kitchen must've got confused as they gave me wings with bones. She said "sorry about that". I didn't send them back at the time as I just tucked in and didn't want hubby to finish his nachos while waiting for fresh wings. Difficult to work out how many stars to give - certainly not 5, but stars for food quality only. We arrived just gone 11am, just after opening. First thing we noticed was the really sticky bar - as we were the 1st customers, we found that a bit odd. Sat outside and opted for a bench as we noticed some of the chairs were in need of a clean. Not to be put off by these couple of oversights, we ordered our food. I went to the bar to order, but felt awkward as I had just disturbed the bar person as she was sat at a table having a bite to eat and drink. I ordered boneless chicken wings plus nachos for starters. Followed by XL mixed grill skillet and hunters chicken skillet. I did ask the server what the hunters chicken was like, and she pulled a face and said it wouldn't be her choice! The food arrived and straight away I noticed the chicken wings were not boneless - but I figured I'd eat them anyway. We weren't given napkins so I had to go inside and grab a handful. Also no finger bowl provided - which should be a must when serving finger food. The nachos were cold at the bottom of the bowl but tasted OK. The mains arrived on small white oval plates - not skillets as described in the menu and not sizzling! In fact the XL mixed grill arrived on the same size plate as the hunters chicken - so not completely convinced it was XL. Presentation was very disappointing but the food did taste really good, except for the peas which were on the dry side. The steak, chicken and gammon were cooked to perfection - really very tasty. It took an age for the finished plates to be removed, attracting flies, so we moved them across to another table. I mean overall, we went for a meal and we were happy with the main courses. But the things mentioned above make me think that more attention to detail wouldn't go amiss - especially when the bar isn't busy! The staff should eat before shifts start, that way they could be cleaning the bar in quiet periods. Staff should also sing the praises of the menu and not grimace when asked. Finger bowls and napkins should be provided with finger food. If you advertise a sizzling skillet, you should serve a sizzling skillet.

   Enjoyed a great family gathering here, there were 12 adults and 2 young kids, all had a great time, surroundings were lovely and the kids had a great time playing in the play area and we had large screens to keep us entertained. the food was delicious and such great value for money.

   We always have such as great time at the Yacht. We have been coming here for years and the food and service is always great. It can get very busy as it is a very popular pub which can cause some waiting times but it is never unbearable and is always handled to the best of their ability. The desserts are amazing as pictured and my partner always enjoys the all-day breakfast (with an extra sausage haha). We love it here and always enjoy the quiz on a Thursday and Sunday as well as any live music or karaoke they have on the weekend occasionally. It's a great pub and always has great deals on food midweek and great deals on cocktails on the weekend. Would recommend any of the food but my favourite is the chick'n'mix and would recommend that when you visit that you book too! Blue light card and Student discount is accepted here providing you have the app! They have a good play area and are always helpful with my partner's allergies!

   Good basic pub food well presented and well served. Pleasant staff. Clean attractive decor. Tables cleared quickly, so no mess left around. More suitable for adults as the 18 + bar is in the same room and you may hear poor language. It's worth a visit.

   Would give this place 10 stars. it's great my first roast dinner in the area since we moved here with my fiancée and we really enjoyed it so much this will be our main favorite Pub restaurant from now on. Prices are reasonable with today's cost of living. The pint of Guinness is also good approved by my Irish Fiancé! Thank you!

   Beautiful atmosphere & staff are always friendly! Grandson lost a £1 in toy machine & straight away staff handed over a gift for him to choose. Excellent food for both adults & children.

   Had a lunch date with my mate of over 40 years. She suggested the Yacht. I found this venue warm and welcoming from the moment I entered. The food and drinks were well priced and free car parking. My friend had the steak in ale pie, I had Fish n Chips sitting in our cosy table, we were served generous portions of food which was hot n tasty. I strongly recommend and will visit again soon ;0)
