   Had a really nice lunch here mid week with some friends. Menu had good choice and set menu was priced well for 3 courses. Staff were very pleasant and good service. Would certainly go there again.

   On a cold Autumn Sunday we stumbled upon this beautiful pub and were greeted by friendly faces and an open fire. It’s an old building and feels like a classic English pub. It was busy too. Very busy. But we were just two and they kindly squeezed us in and we were treated to the best Sunday Roast. We started with some homemade bread, roast garlic, olives and some beer from the local brewery in Westerham. It was all delicious and and great prelude to the main event - two thick slices of rare but very tender sirloin of beef accompanied by roast spuds, parsnips, carrots and a mound of tasty, green cabbage. There was obviously a good-sized Yorkshire pudding but also a huge jug of gravy which was left on the table so you could help yourself. We really liked that the horseradish was served by the waiter from a bowl rather than the obligatory jar of Colman's dumped on the table too. Nice touch. It really was a perfect roast. I’d love to tell you about the puddings but we were stuffed. Highly recommend - I doubt there’s a better Sunday roast in Kent.

   Saturday lunch visit. Generally good food, nice to have the option of cheese for a dessert. Poke bowl was good, pork belly also very good, mushroom/tofu main lacked a little. Attentive service,very quick to fill water throughout our visit. We were upstairs, quite noisy for older visitors in our group.

   We had a wonderful lunch at the George and Dragon. The food was really outstanding, very tasty and the service very attentive. The staff were topping up our glasses of water at all the time. We sat outside, it was very pleasant, but the only annoying thing were the wasps wondering around our food. Highly recommended.

   We found this amazing little place on our way home. The staff are amazing. So polite so helpful and super warmly, they make you feel like you’ve been there many many times! The food is out of this world I always say there’s always an aspect of a meal that can let you down. But this place was amazing at every point the food was unreal. This was the best way to top off a weekend with the family!

   Went here after a hike in Otford. Had a lovely Sunday roast: the beef was tender, roast potatoes and veggies were cooked perfectly, we were given lots of gravy, and the chocolate and hazelnut tart for dessert was delicious. Definitely recommend!

   Lovely pub that specialises in great food and service. Nice bar, open fire and casual dinning tables downstairs. Further dinning space upstairs including a little private dinning room. The food was superb, staff were friendly and provided great service and pub has great character. Highly recommend.

   The food was a delicious and the menu really interesting, but I think we suffered from a case of expectations vs reality. The vibe of the pub is traditional and cosy with a fire place and cute dogs, but the menu didn't quite match up to the hearty pub meal we were hoping for. It aligned more with a refined British restaurant, smaller portions and slightly over priced. Having said all that, the food we did eat was very tasty, special mention to the braised leek dish, which was entirely vegan, but very creamy. The staff were also very attentive and the decor with dark wooden beams was lovely.
