   I often attend as a cyclist with groups of friends. Its a proper pub in the traditional sense offering good food, good value and a warm welcome. You'd have to go a long way to beat it.

   Tricky to give top review as I didn't eat there. However, it was quite full, and food did look good. Staff very friendly and an excellent choice of beers. Green king if you like cask ale! Nice garden and its attachments are very quiet location. If you are walking around these parts, it seems to me a good stop!

   Stopped in for lunch on a visit to the well next door--surprised they had a vegan tea and also vegan sandwich; really filling hummus sandwich with salad and chips. Well presented and a generous portion. The staff was really helpful about ensuring everything was vegan. Dog-friendly, although dogs are only allowed outside or in the foyer.

   Lovely gem in kemsing! Lovely staff, brilliant food, really welcoming and very friendly atmosphere! Held our family Xmas party here last year and holing it again this year! It was brilliant! Would recommend this pub for parties or even for lunch and dinner!

   This pub was recommended to me by several local residents for Sunday roast. Well, they weren't wrong. If someone can make even the accompanying broccoli and cauliflower taste delicious, you know you're onto a winner. The sticky toffee pudding and particularly the Bailey's cheesecake were incredible too. The pub is unassuming but the staff are super friendly and the service is great. It's not hard to see why this place seems to be a local favourite.
