   the pub is very good, the staff is friendly. You can play pool or darts. in the evenings you can listen to a live concert of local music groups.

   Hmmm,this place is run down and in desperate need of a make over. Grumpy bartender or landlord not sure which he was,was quite unwelcoming. However! The real ale is kept well and was a nice pint and a good price too,so i will return in the near future to see if its any better,until then 2 star !

   I hope this pub actually gets a clean... sticky tables and clutter everywhere. Old tables changed for smaller child like ones. The owners just sit there and do nothing on there phones...VERY LAZY OWNERS. You will run this pub further into the ground! Will take pictures if it's like it next time to add to the review! Hopefully things get better

   Wendy and Keith were fantastic hosts tonight. My friend Simon was playing a gig and they couldn't have been friendlier. It's great to go into a pub and feel welcomed immediately. The locals were very friendly too and the pub had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub, especially for families as they were great with kids too. Wendy is hilarious and is a credit to the business. Chris

   Landlord and Lady were very welcoming and have done a lovely job of freshening up a proper traditional pub. Dog and family friendly. We will be back!
