   We keep coming back, as it is always good. Today was exceptional. Service is efficient and personal as always. Main Sunday Lamb Roast was great and the plentiful vegetables were cooked to perfection. Yorkshire puddings were also really good. We had sides of cauliflower cheese and red cabbage - both cooked just as it should be. We will of course be back.

   Such a lovely restaurant, the Christmas food is so good. We come back year after year for our annual Christmas girls’ meal - we bring our tribe of children and the staff are just so lovely and accommodating. Honestly, the service is sometimes slow but then it has been busy when we’ve been. I’ve been as a family, when it’s quieter, and it’s been a lot quicker. The food is reasonably priced but you don’t mind paying because the food is so, so, so good! (they have a great dessert selection). I really enjoy the lovely food here and would recommend this for a lovely meal out, not just at Christmas but all year round.

   We had a lovely lovely roast dinner here ! It was hot , tasted delicious and the service was brilliant , Georgia was amazing so polite and helpful , wasn’t at all bothered by our several request for our daughter ! Looking forward to coming back very soon !

   Lovely food, very friendly staff. We went for an early evening meal and the restaurant was quiet. For starters, we had creamy garlic mushrooms and scallops, prawn and crab, both dishes came with bread, and the mushrooms were very tasty. Mains were katsu chicken and steak and ale pie. Both were reasonable portions and tasted great. There wasn't much wait between courses (it was very quiet, though). Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. They have a reasonably large car park, which is free to customers. Just remember to enter your registration at the bar.

   Lovely Anniversary Meal – The Green Man, Longfield (Friday, 09/05/2025) Table booked for 7:00 pm We visited The Green Man for the first time on a Friday night to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary – a surprise booking kindly arranged by our daughter. The venue is about 20 minutes from home and offered a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Ashley, who was courteous, attentive, and personable throughout the evening. She acknowledged our anniversary, which was a thoughtful touch arranged via a note left by our daughter, and it really set a positive tone for the night. • The Weekend Treat Menu was excellent – well-priced with a strong variety of options. • Our meals were well-presented, full of flavour, and served in good time. • Service overall was efficient and friendly, with Ashley providing just the right balance of attentiveness and professionalism. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and a memorable first visit. We would gladly return and recommend The Green Man to others seeking a relaxed yet high-quality dining experience. If we do return, we sincerely hope Ashley will be working – her service truly made the evening special.

   Not a bad pub and venue. The food was better when we had a smaller group of us seemed to struggle with over 10 of us. Food was ok but wasn’t blown away considering the bill price. Sadly looked better than it tasted

   Christmas Lunch at The Green Man - We had a really great, festive meal, which was a great alternative to cooking at home. I've never done lunch out on Christmas Day before, but this was good fun. Thanks to all the staff who couldn't do enough for us.

   Visited for a Birthday Meal. Food and service was brilliant. Just one complaint and that was about the Prawn Cocktail - ridiculous amount of lettuce and barely any prawns. Not great considering the price. We did mention this to our Waitress and it was taken off our Bill so great customer service. I wish they would change the Menu though as Vintage Inns have had the same Menu for so long now. Apart from that would recommend.

   The staff are amazing, we booked very last minute . The had clearly had a busy day so the menu ended up having a few things no longer available. They sat us down and let us know so we could decide if we still wanted to have a meal, which we did we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Our little girl enjoyed her food too and all the lovely smiles and waves she was getting from everyone too .

   Went for lunch. I had the beef brisket sandwich, which was delicious. Came with a lovely dipping sauce/,gravy and good chips. My friend had pizza, which was also very good. Fabulous service by Sheila. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Good food and drinks menu overall. Would definitely recommend.
