Went here today for lunch specifically for the over 60s but ended up ordering from the main menu. We all had ham egg and chips. The ham was delicious and comes from a local butchers (Colney Road) chatted to the landlady who was very pleasant. The very small criticism was that it was a tad chilly. Will definitely be back with the dogs.

Fantastic classic pub. The Timothy Taylor Landlord was exceptionally well kept. Always heard great things about this pub and can definitely report the beer was fantastic. Also, the bar staff were most welcoming and so friendly. Can’t wait to return.
New owners doing a better job in my opinion..Guinness was poured to perfection, went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the free bar roast potatoes.
I had a very pleasant evening in the Ivy Leaf which is under new ownership. My intention was to call in for a pint of Guinness. That became several pints plus 3 delicious rolls consumed throughout the course of the evening. Lively friendly atmosphere, great selection of background music and the service was first class thanks to the two ladies behind the bar, Lisa and Fran, who quite clearly enjoy their jobs and have lovely personalities. This is a proper English pub and certainly the best in Dartford.
Great landlord and landlady. A real, traditional pub with friendly locals and fab Sunday roast. Just across from nice park to walk it off afterwards Xx

We had a really enjoyable Sunday lunch today at the ivyleaf ,we would definitely recommend coming here and will be coming back again .
