   I might just be unlucky, but the food always takes a long time to arrive. I've been with a group of people several times and when some of our group have finished eating, others still haven't yet any food arrive. The staff are friendly, but the food situation puts me off visiting more often.

   I walked in here for the first time in 9 years and it had changed drastically, in a positive way. I was greeted with smiles which instantly lifted my mood. I came in here for the pool, which I must say, is the best pool table I’ve played on, immaculate. The service was second to none, and il be coming back.

   Pretty much a kinda locals pub but it’s ok for food and the service was friendly and efficient and the meal deals good value. As ever with Greene King pubs the beers are at best mundane but I had a free beer on the Greene Kjng app. Our food was relatively cheap as we got a deal on 2 of the 3 mains ordered. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. The food was nicely presented and hot and tasty enough for pub grub. Would be back if ever in the area again.

   Just tried the new brunch at my local pub and I was seriously impressed! The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety of options (highly recommend Hot honey halloumi flat bread ). The atmosphere is as welcoming as ever, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. It’s such a nice addition to the weekend, and a great excuse to pop in a little earlier in the day. If you’re local (or even if you’re not), it’s definitely worth checking out. Brunch at the pub might just become my new favorite weekend tradition!

   I was down the other day and received exceptional service from the bar and Kitchen staff. Megan in particular was kind, welcoming and made me feel like I could always come down again!! My compliments to the chef in the kitchen named Luke, the food we received was amazing as well as the service, I ordered a burger and chips and it was prepared very quickly. Overall I'm grateful for the experience I received and will be back soon.

   Had a really good dinner here, the food was lovely and the staff were so nice and friendly, and really attentive - really quick to bring mains after starters, clear plates and check we had everything we needed. Felt very looked after and I see they have a great range of events as well which I look forward to trying. Nice local pub.

   Amazing place first of all, i would 100% recommend to friends and family. The food is so tasty and very enjoyable. The drinks are fab! The management are really welcoming and kind. Couldn't say a bad word about them. Thank you Sandmartin for an enjoyable atmosphere.

   Having lived in Grays for a year, managed to find a quaint place to have lunch. The portions are not that great but the food is tasty and the ambience is lovely. Staff friendly , however u can order everything on the app. Good choice of food and drinks
