    First of all, I’m sorry for having to leave a bad review, because Sarah the manager was very polite, but what happened was real annoying afterwards. I visited National Tyres in Kingston to have an MOT test. They did it while I was sitting in the reception room. When I received my BMW, I noticed that a huge scratch/cut was on the car’s steering wheel leather… I asked them about how that had happened, but the senior mechanic simply told me that it wasn’t them and it was there before probably. The wheel is definitely the most used and touched part of your car, and you exactly know in what condition it is. My wheel leather was perfectly clean of any scratches just before I handed the car to them. What should we do nowadays? Take photos of everything or place an interior camera before handing the car to them to prove any fault? I know this doesn’t sound like a minor fault, but it’s annoying as hell since you have to feel that huge scratch now instead of the smooth leather every time you drive your car. This free MOT was part of a service bundle from Halfords, but I regret now that I didn’t choose to pay £50 to have it done at a BMW service, unfortunately.

    Went to have my wheels balanced. Not that they only damaged the underside of my car, did not use the jacking point but instead on the softer part of the chassis. Also, either the machine they have to balance the car is faulty or the staff doing it needs to train how to use the machine. The car was vibrating a lot after balancing was done at motorway speed, i thought the cv axle was worn. They will also ask you to chose to pay cash and get discount or pay by card at full price. I went to another tyre shop because I dont want them to damage the underside anymore and to have the tyres balanced/checked so to have at least 2 checks by done by different garages. And yes, I was right, the tyres were not balanced properly. I stood by so I can see the balancing of tyres, they had to remove all the weights that was put on by National and put new ones in. Dont use these garage, waste of my time and money. Check with the technician, the underside of your car before and after jacking, to make sure they dont damage the car.

    Would not recommend and don't come back for sure. Changed tires with them in April They lost one of my valve cap. And more important they didn't screw up one secure bolt, so it's got lost in a few weeks after. I don't worry too much about this things but think about the danger that they put me and my family on. Upd: The issue was resolved. Added stars to three for the customer service. Thanks.

    #halford What a disrespectful and dishonest staff. I booked online at halford website yo get my car checked for potential repair. Wasted all my time to get their and being told off very rudely that we don’t have staff to do free checks? Why the hell would you take booking if you dont have staff to do the job? No respect for people time. I am never going to use this garage ever again and Halford supposedly being a trust worrhy brand should not prner with such garage. Makes me doubt Halfords service across all its garages now!

    I've been using National Tyres for few years now. Last year i've been to the branch from Kingston Road in Wimbledon however they offer me a grate experience. This year when I've tried to book with them on the day i been available unfortunately they didn't have a slot space so the website give me alternative other branches, so i went with Kinston-Upon-Thames. With the day before my booking someone from the branch called me to let me know that they cant complete my MOT same day, however i paid for everything to be done in a day. I ask if i can have the service done on the day i initially booked and MOT next day and was fine. Before i let my car with them at 8:30am i ask them to give me a rough estimate time when my car will be ready and they told me around midday. around 4pm i called them 5 times and they didn't answered, the 6th time finally answered and told me that in 10 minuets will be ready, at 4:40 i showed up to the garage and my car still wasn't ready and i had to wait longer. After i took my car and done some visual checks: I could see that the plastic cover under the bonnet was lose and everywhere was oil grease My leather on the driver seat and the right door was stained of oil/grease wherever they had on they're hands Also i could see on computer board that the brake fluid needs changing and i ask them and they didn't know that so how they done my service ? even i ask them to let me know if my car needs extra repairs as i could see national tyres only top-up not changing the brake fluid When i start my car i saw on dash that my service is due in 3200 miles.(after the new service) In my log book instead writing 2022 they write 2023 and ticks the wrong pages and now i have to take my car to the main dealership to repair what they was unable. I polite ask them about those problems and they told me that there was no time for correcting their mistakes, however was Saturday 1pm and they ask me to come later in a week. How they can do that? I will have to take another day off and lose the pay for they mistake? Plus that when i was there waiting for my car the phone was ringing and the had they're music loud. The person in charge with the CSR telling his colleague that his tired and his not answering that phone and if he dose he will tell them that their car is-not ready, thats rude. I will try my best to let everyone know about my experience using National Tyres to prevent future customers discomfort.
