   Poor poor service. Had issues with my Mercedes battery keys - both pairs. I purchased 2 new batteries which on the day were enough to get me home but they stopped working the next day and I couldn’t get back in my car. Walked 40 minutes to the store and the customer assistant said he wouldn’t be able to replace or provide new batteries without a charge if I didn’t have the receipt. The receipt is in the car that I can’t get into as the Halfords supplied batteries don’t let me in! You’d expect better given it’s THEIR replacement batteries that have failed on me. Disappointed to say the least - another 40 minute walk home now. UPDATE: they did at least contact me a few days later to apologise and offer a refund.

   I would like to commend Sam for the outstanding service he provided. From start to finish, his customer service was exceptional. He fitted my roof bars with real expertise and took the time to talk me through the entire process, clearly sharing his knowledge and experience. Sam made what could have been a routine fitting genuinely enjoyable. He was extremely attentive, friendly, and highly professional throughout. Based on my experience, I would confidently recommend visiting this particular Halfords branch purely because of Sam’s excellent service.

   I visited the Halfords Barnet store about six weeks ago in urgent need of a baby car seat. It was late in the evening (around 7pm), and I had no idea which chair to buy or how to fit it, but I was due to see my son the next day and needed it sorted quickly. From the moment I walked in, the team were helpful. After briefly explaining the situation to the colleague at the front, I was introduced to Sam, who was absolutely exceptional. Sam took the time to go through all the suitable options with me, clearly explaining the differences and helping me choose the safest seat. He then fitted the baby chair into my car perfectly, talking me through each step so I’d understand how to remove and reinstall it myself in the future. He used his torch, showed me all the safety points and made sure I felt completely confident before leaving. He genuinely went above and beyond, especially considering how late it was. The baby seat has been fantastic since, and his recommendation was spot on. I’m sorry it’s taken me a little while to leave this review, but I want to say a massive thank you to Sam for being an absolute diamond. I really appreciate your help and professionalism. Excellent service and highly recommended.

   My bulb in my car needed replacing. As Halfords was so close to my work I popped in during my lunch break. Everyone had obviously had the same idea. It was busy, however the staff were so helpful and professional and organised. Sam the colleague who dealt with me was lovely, helpful and reassuring. This isn't the first time I have had to visit for assistance and it definitely want be the last. Thank you.

   Really pleased with the service and how easy everything was. I ordered two children's bikes. I chose to have them sent to the store and for them to assemble in branch. I chose my collection time. On arrival I was served right away by Luka. Really friendly and polite. He informed me of other services. Great customer service. 100% recommended. Thank you!

   Car battery was suspect. A helpful We Fit technician at Friern Barnet branch tested it and suggested we just take a long drive! Really appreciated his advice. As a back up we decided to buy a portable jump start unit. Traci was very helpful & patient. She had good knowledge of product choices and allowed us to order online & collect as that way turned out cheaper. Thank you Halfords for a 5 * experience!

   Your battery fixing staff member was good. But other counter member needs to be more courteous in customer services. Thanks for old battery disposable and fixing charges needs reviewing please. Your waiting area needs refurbishing if I may say so. All in all was a quick successful visit. All the best!

   Excellent store with great service. I recently ordered a bike through the cycle2work scheme and picked up my order here. When I got there everything was all set up ready for my bike and all of the staff members, even the junior ones, were very friendly and competetint in helping me fill out my order. Despite the fact the online system had messed up a little bit I was out and on my way in good time. Thoroughly recommend and will be back soon to pick up some fear for my new bike.
