Terrible service, disorganised, unfriendly atmosphere and bad attitudes of staff! Tried to buy a toy storage box that said twelve on it. The saleswoman tried charging me £19. I asked her to check it twice, she glared at me, as if she was trying to square up to me. Then she questioned the electric scooter i had sticking out of a smyths toy bag. I told her you dont sell these, the same woman who sneaks upto people to check bags and prams. I waited a minute for her to check pricing, but she wouldnt, she just said, pay... I said no this needs checking. Another saleswoman tried telling people the wifi is down, but this awful woman serving me replied well mine is working, before raising her voice and said i am waiting your card has declined! i said no it hasnt, i told you i am waiting for a price check. She said who do think you are you talking to. started gritting her teeth at me. Obv she shouldnt be working there. I said i have asked multiple times you ignored me trying to get me to pay more, which has been the case now about twelve times!!!! so i left the item instead and told her next time listen and do your job. I wish i would have said more. Cannot stand this place. Not only is the cafe overpriced, the items esp xmas ones are poorly made and overpriced, the staff are oddly slow and proud, the customers push and shove, the products are all over the place. Then this woman with the attitude works there so. I will take my money elsewhere. Oh and I earn far far far more than you Mrs assistant, not everyone with a pram needs to steal ya know!! Oh before I forget, if ever I do visit in future I will makesure i bump into certain people with no manners! Really not amused. I rang to complain but they never answer phones. The staff are a mix of young girls and middle aged women with attitudes (except a few) but wow! I went in many times of xmas and overheard people complaining. They alter the price at the tills thinking you wont notice. The attitude of this older woman was so so bad/

A fantastic store with a massive range of items in stock. It's nit cramped and crowded like some stores with loads of room to move around. The in store cafe seems nice with average prices (I looked but didnt partake at the time). I went for the craft section for a specific item, while not in stock I did find something else I'd been looking for making the trip well worth it. Staffbwere pleasant and helpful and the prices are as expected. Overall a very positive experience and opinion on the store as a whole.

Arrived thinking we’d have a nice coffee and cake before browsing the craft section. We had to sit listening to staff calls for management, customer waiting. Well that customer must have been waiting 20-30 mins (as long as it took to drink our coffee). I advise people not to use the toilets. I had to clean the toilet seat with tissue and handwashing before using. Absolutely minging. The staff really are lovely and helpful and I can’t blame them for being grumpy, if those ignored calls for management support are anything to go by. Head office really need to visit this broken store and listen to staff.

On Monday 4th August, I went in looking for a staple gun. Eventually found the craft section and spent about 5 minutes looking for one. I eventually found 2 members of staff that were stood there talking so I asked them. One was nice and mentioned they were in the DIY section and pointed out the way, the other one, younger with dark blonde hair, just looked at me with pure disgust for interrupting their conversation. I went over to the DIY section and again spent maybe 5-10 minutes trying to find a staple gun. I couldn't find anyone to ask either. I eventually found them on a barren aisle as there were many hooks just empty or products in the wrong place with no prices. I did take pictures of this. On my way out of the DIY section I noticed the 2 members of staff still stood there talking, they could've been restocking the craft section or sorting it out as it was in dire need. I headed for the till, again something I struggled to find as the place is so big but the signs are limited. Someone pointed me in the right direction. As I was going down an aisle towards the checkout, the young woman with mousey, dark blonde hair from earlier was coming the other way with a trolley and didn't move over. Bare in mind I was pushing a pram and had a baby in my arms, I had to move the pram to the left or she would've hit us. I got to the till, and got served by a man that looked like he hated every minute of being there and didn't even give me chance to get my items I'd just paid for before he called next and started scanning the items from another customer. On the way out I received a few more scolded looks by the same young woman that tried to take me and my kids out with the trolley. I left and as I dodged the homeless man sat next to the exit, I promised I'd never return, be it to any Range store as my experience that day was the worst store experience I'd had any where. I'm a manager my self and whoever runs that store is failing, they need to manage their staff so much more effectively but then if the staff don't care to be there and don't treat the customers with respect then I doubt the manager will.

Thought we would give it a try. I ordered burger with fries. I asked for no salad. It came with a burger sauce, there is no mention of the sauce on the menu or I would have asked for none. The fries are clumped together and undercooked. My husband had fish and chips. It came with garden peas, not mushy peas. Hos chips were also undercooked and clumped together. Not somewhere I would go again

Good range of products at reasonable prices with a decent cafe right at the back of the store so you can have a break from shopping whilst walking round. It's a big store with enty to look round so be prepared to spend a while in there - the cafe is handy being so far into the store as opposed to the usual location of at the entrance/exit. There is a good range of craft things in there too, it's always an enjoyable visit around this store as there is always plenty of items to browse round that you hadn't intended looking at and also a good variety of pet accessories plus an outdoor section for your gardening needs. We'll worth a visit and has ample parking outside to accommodate busy days - I would definitely go back for a browse round.

The staff are incredibly helpful and the breadth of items offered is remarkable, more so as this includes Iceland Foods now. However, while the staff are amazing there seems to be a lot less of them about. Despite how much busier the staff are because of their numbers they remain polite and helpful. Management need to not cut staff back any further or risk the stress of the staff being visible to more than someone trained in this field. Staff that need to run to stand still end up voting with their feet and it would be a shame to see these good people leave

Staff very welcoming and friendly and gave excellent customer service. The only negative would be I needed to use the toilet and it was very very dirty no toilet roll however the staff was quick to get me some. I did mention the toilets were very dirty to the staff, it looks like they haven't been cleaned for a few weeks. Would definitely say that's something the head office should look at getting sorted I think redecorate and revamp desperately needed and someone to keep on top of the cleaning and hygiene.

Good selection of products available. Loads of seasonal displays. Great prices. Massive range of items available here from stationary and craft, home and living, pets, outdoor clothing, seasonal, furniture, decorating, health and beauty and food. Situated in store is also a small Iceland with quite a good variation of food.
