Really nice store. The Range has done a really nice job of filling the gap left by Woolworths, offering a really nice variety of items for a good price. The staff are friendly & helpful, checkout has always been quick & easy, it has close public transport links so it's easy to get to & home from. All good, I'm happy to keep shopping here.
I bought a lock and chain, when I realised the lock didn't go through the chain as the padlock had thick ridges on the end, I took it back the very next day. The bike chain was sold off a rack with no packaging. They said they were unable to refund me as it wasn't in the packaging. I had the receipt aswell. I was very upset they just dumped it on the counter and walked off so I couldn't answer. I will never use this shop again. Horrible inconsiderate staff and was made to feel very upset. Wasted my money.
As someone who has always been a huge fan of the range and have shopped there for all of my seasonal gear for years, I am so disappointed after today’s visit to this store. Long story short, there were the Halloween ceramic paintable castle on offer at £8.99 (on the ticket), I took a picture of it to send to my other half and we agreed to get one for my son I was with because it was a good price. Picked up the rest of the autumn stuff as there was a decent 20% off sale on and headed to the till. When the lady scanned it through, it came up at £14.99, the price before the sale, so I mentioned that it should be £8.99 and the lady said oh no, I think they were supposed to take those price reductions off but it is at that price so I’ll have to call my manager to bring the price down but she might not. I asked why not when that’s the price it’s advertised at and she said well it was supposed to be online only so we should have had the tickets on. When the manager came she said unfortunately I can’t reduce the price because it scans though as £11.99 with the 20% off so there’s nothing else I can do. I asked why she couldn’t honour it and she said she can’t put it through on the till. I’ve never known a till not have an override price button. When I asked why should couldn’t scan the other item through that was the same price she looked at me like something she had on the bottom of her shoe and said well obviously I can’t because I’m not selling that item. My 4 year old was crying by this point and because of the extremely poor customer service and general empathy from the manager I decided to cancel the rest of the £50 transaction out of principle, not because of the £3 but because of how shocking the service was. Fast forward to a seriously upset 4 year old and disappointed mum, I think I’ll have to consider other shops for my Christmas decs this year if that’s the service you want to provide and the way you want to treat your customers. A good store with good stock as you'd expect. Only downside is the aisles seem tights and during restocking/refitting of the store it makes it unable to get around d certain areas. Such as 7 "cages" and staff stock trolleys blocking the centre aisle meaning having to go halfway round the shop to get where you want to be.
If only I had hours spare to wander around this store and an unlimited bank balance! Purchased some gorgeous Easter items to decorate my workplace today. So much choice it's unreal.
Love this shop. So vast a range of items. Also got a bargain on a display item on this visit. Convenient easy parking and location. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Plenty of household goods to pick from not too busy a bit of a queue to get out but it soon went down . Seemed reasonably priced to me .Good range of paint, curtains and bedding. Has a good craft section also caters for pets
