Great choice if you want variety, quality brands, and a proper outlet experience. But not bargain. load your pockets before going.

Easy access with lifts, stairs and escalator to upper floor where there is a cafe and toilets. All the usual clothing lines plus a very good food hall with lots of variety and vegetarian, and gluten free food options. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

I was looking in the men's department for a crew neck sweater and found a lovely one in a blue I liked. Unfortunately they didn't have one in my size, the sweaters were displayed on one of their square wooden display tables. I spotted a member of staff so took one of the oversized sweaters to her and asked if they were likely to have in my size - a large .She said that if there were none on display, then no, I could order one on line to collect in store or have one delivered to my home address for a charge. I returned the sweater to the table and it was then that I noticed there appeared to be a fold down hatch at the bottom of the display table, there was a small finger sized hole to open it. So I opened it, and there were at least 6 sweaters in the colour I wanted all in Large! Obviously this space was for additional storage so why did the member of staff not know this? Had I not seen this. I would have left the store and most likely looked elsewhere for a jumper. Not the usual M&S customer service I'm used to.

The store is much better than it was. It has really improved over the last couple of years. The clothing range has several things I would buy and that I do buy as a man in his early 50s. The food range has always been excellent.

I had a lovely cup of tea and some really delicious gluten free lemon shortbread biscuits in the M&S cafe in Meadowhall earlier today. I don’t think that I’ve ever used this cafe before but the cakes looked amazing and the crockery was really nice. I had no trouble finding a table as there was plenty of choice but I did notice that there were uncleared tables etc which surprised me. I also used the ladies toilets and was surprised to see that there was only one toilet cubicle. It was very smelly in there! In summary, great service, great cuppa and delicious shortbread but cafe area not kept clean and toilet area very smelly =4 stars. Lots of lovey clothes and household items plus a well stocked Food Hall

Terrible self checkouts the staff was service was appalling apart from two, Dawn and her colleague my mum was trying to buy something and would not scan we were stuck there for 15 minutes. Luckily, Dawn helped us to scan the products thanks a bunch Dawn and her colleague.

Good selection of food as always. However, we couldnt find any fresh chicken but loads of turkey. You can now use hand held scanners which are located at each entrance providing you have a Sparks card. A little difficult to move around today but then again what to expect the day before Chridtmas Eve.

An excellent performance by M&S at Meadowhall today. It was v busy, but the tills were fully staffed, and the queues moved quickly. The staff in the cafe were particularly impressive. Although very busy, they remained friendly, good humoured and polite. A fabulous example of truly excellent management and a remarkable team performance.
