They don’t actually do walk-in fittings (as it says on the website) so you need to book. Real waste of time not doing what you advertise. The guy on the desk was very polite though.
Very happy with the bike and price, however after collecting my bike, which i also paid extra for it to be built by halfords, the handle bars were loose and twisted whilst riding, fortunately i was only riding slowly outside the store and not fast on a busy road! So definitely recommend checking over before leaving the store.
I was just served by the loveliest man today. Even his interactions with the customers in front of me, was lovely. He had such a positive and great interaction with them. I actually have my driving test today and he wished me luck. Such a good person to have on the team
I had the best experience at the Catford Halfords branch. I went in for my appointment to repair a chip on my windscreen and from the very start the service was excellent. A guy called Jay was very helpful with my booking and also when I decided to buy new wiper blades, he took the time to help me choose the right ones. The chip repair was done by a lady called Sam and she was absolutely amazing. You could see how much she enjoys her job. She was friendly, professional, explained every step clearly, and even brought a bit of fun and positivity by singing along while she worked – and she had a great voice too. She did an outstanding job and I could not be happier with the service. Both Jay and Sam went above and beyond and I would highly recommend the Catford branch to anyone.
Small car cover has absolutely no other way of securing it other then a bit of cheap string which will rot i went and collected and am now returning in less then an hour solely for this reason. Disgusting how they can sell you a car cover and expect it to be secured with some cheap string. This string provided doesn’t each reach underneath my small vehicle to secure it, the bag has been built into the cover and is horrendous to put in and out just overall a terrible product Very unhappy trade member customer.
Just bought my bike from this store, came with free bike fitting, so I thought I’ll take that option. Absolutely rubbish mechanics working on the bikes, don’t think they are qualified to be honest. To save yourself time, you’re better off going to your local mechanic! Other than that, staff are friendly, but they need to train their mechanics.
A couple of months ago Brett and Harley stayed overtime in order to replaced the corroded brakes from my catering van. In another occasion Harley refunded me without an issue the discount that I was supposed to get for being a Premium Motoring Club Member. We'll see you soon for my MOT.
Delightful staff but not enough. Computer system seemed to be archaic, clunky and slow. Customers hanging around waiting. I tried on line first but failed. Also tried contacting the store and failed so decided to go in person then: Plenty of effort put into making the store look impressive. I repeat the staff were lovely
