Easier to get an in person appointment with your NHS GP than with Bupa! Waiting list is weeks, pointless paying for health insurance when it’s weeks before you can even get seen at a suitable time.
Booked an appointment yesterday and booked time off work especially for my appointment only to be told an hour before my appointment my appointment is cancelled. As a self employed electrician this has a pretty big impact to me financially!! Lesson learned, healthcare in the UK is just shit even if you pay for it
although the staff and facilities were excellent, the service advertised was not provided. this was admitted by the complaints team yet when a refund was discussed the attitude somewhat changed. very poor ethics from the company and I implore you to use services elsewhere from a more honest company where you are more than just a number and a pound sign
Very poor service took a Autistic child non verbal with tummy pain throat pains been unwell mouth ulcers got appointment same day check up wasn’t done properly rude comments were made towards child was in need of antibiotics serious nothing was given. Neglectful service
For a self-funded MSK patient, who suspects they might need an MRI scan, or wants an MRI, this is ultimately rather poor value. To be clear, the staff seem great, but I paid £233 for a basic check-up, and referral for an MRI scan at Living Care, (which was another £600+, paid direct to them). BUPA then charge another £158 to essentially read out the results of the scan from a report written by the Living Care radiologist (the Bupa consultant didn't look at the scan images). Far better to go direct to Living Care first and take it from there. Again, BUPA staff seem great, but just my experience/ observation of the process.
Well experienced and respectful staff. Fruit baskets in the waiting areas - a nice touch indeed. Watch out for parking, the machine doesn’t accept card!
Got an appointment the same day I called up and was seen very promptly. Was referred for an mri scan at spire Leeds and they called me that same day to book it in. Top service.
