Katy White, the ward sister made me felt like I had a family member with me throughout the procedure. I told her I was anxious as this is my first time and she made sure I felt safe, checking in on me to the point she was already waiting for me in my room before I came back from the operation theatre. She reminded me of my mom when she gave me post operation care instructions before I left the hospital as she made sure I remember all the steps and such haha. Because of them, it almost felt like I was with my group of friends, talking about Otley run and such. Diane was an angel who took care of my meals. Even though I told her I am not picky, she made sure she goes through all the menu and that I get the best meal suited for my taste. And last but not least, Dr. Ian Beckley. Amazing is an understatement when it comes to him. The surgery was quick, neat and subtle to the point I almost fell asleep. His precise decision making made me feel safe during the surgery and he knew how to build trust between us throughout our interaction. Overall, Spire made my very first surgical experience in the UK a very pleasant experience. :)”
