   Highly recommend this garage. My car broke down on the M1 and I had it towed else where at first, after being treated poorly with said garage, THE MOTORIST CENTRE arranged for my car to be towed over to them and they completed the work within the week, every member of staff was polite and professional the entire experience and they even sorted out a payment plan for me. As a female I can not recommend this garage enough. Thank you very much to the whole team.

   Quick service but been very poor last couple times I’ve been, one time was quoted on my windows what I thought was broken and not going down properly, they turnt me away and said they’ll price it up and said nearly £700 to fix! Outrageous so I went elsewhere , The next garage u went to just said the right side needed 25 pound fix for it as it was just dry hence not going down properly? And left side was a button I pressed in the car I didn’t even know I pressed! How the garage didn’t notice this either infuriates me, The recent MOT I had failed over a few things that they overprice you to fix, go elsewhere to save a few hundred pounds on the fix! Starting to overcharge now for fixes

   After taking previous vehicles here I am highly disappointed this time, my vehicle had just had a new door put on which was working fine when i took it here, picked it up & the door check strap is broken and my new door has a tear to the outside of the door rim, admitted they had caused the damage as they needed the door open wider to carry out the MOT??? No liability taken to repair the damage they have caused and admitted they caused. Advice was to contact the body repairers who installed the new door as it's down to them as the door check strap has some rust on it. I do feel if i wasn't a woman on my own liability admitted would have meant they repaired the damage they caused. On another note, maybe tell me you caused damage before i paid. I am disgusted with the service this time.

   I have used the Motorist Centre in Biggin Hill for many years on a number of occasions for both my own and three sons vehicles with excellent professional and friendly service. More recently I had a problem with my Discovery 5 with the engine cutting out sporadically when pulling away or reversing. I booked it in at the Motorist Centre and after a week of testing , replacement alternator and further investigation it was found I needed a new engine! Les, the owner, and his team were exceptional! I was provided with detailed options and estimated pricing with explanation as to approximate timescales for the replacement engine and rebuild as well as potential issues which may arise and affect the cost. The car was returned by Les personally last Wednesday. He has provided photos of the dismantle and rebuild with full explanation as to what was found and provided a 1 year guarantee of his workmanship. Incidentally the original alternator was reused once it was determined it wasn’t faulty and no charge was made. I cannot thank Les, Natalie,Debbie and the team of mechanics enough for their professionalism and would not hesitate in recommending them for any motoring issues or MOT’s.

   Fantastic service. Les went above and beyond to sort out my daughter’s obscure and unusual foreign import car. He was so friendly and helpful and not once was he negative. A cheerful can-do attitude which is so refreshing these days. A great mechanic, knows what he’s doing. I have full confidence in his expertise and would definitely recommend The Motorist Centre in Biggin Hill.

   I have been using this place for years, even when owned by previous company and found it very good. Took my truck in today for an MoT. Excellent booking in service. When I had the MoT completed, I was told by the proprietor when I would expect my brake pads to be changed and when a full service would be required and to look at one other point. How refreshing from a motor trader/ service centre to get a short appraisal of what would be needed when and not forced into irrelevant pressure onward sales/work. Now have full confidence in this place and the work force present. Well done chaps, definitely be back!

   On a trip from Scotland in my classic 1988 Mercedes Benz, I had a leaking exhaust. Les was able to fit me in and do an emergency repair until I got home and fit a new exhaust. When there, I noticed the Engine Hydrogen Cleaning Service that he offered and got him to do this, as the car with only 32k miles had only ever done short journeys. Well, I was really surprised when I got it back ion the road as the engine sounded much more lively and with increased power. I’m now looking for the same cleaning service in Scotland for another of my cars. Les provided an excellent service at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
