   Finsbury Car Audio replaced my radio on my 10 year old Nissan X-Trail with an Apple Play radio. Highly recommend them. They made sure the integration with the steering wheel controls worked and that I kept my 360 camera. Great advice to help make sure I picked a unit which would give me what I needed. Friendly helpful service. Please go to these guys and support a great independent trustworthy local business.

   Thank you so much, Leonard! The alarm in my 2011 Ford Focus was going off randomly at night and I think my neighbours were gathering for a lynching!! An auto electrician examined the car, charged me a small fortune and found and corrected some ‘faults', but it made no difference. I then took it to TrustFord who kept the car for 5 days [a relief for my neighbours] charged me £180 to diagnose that the problem was the audio system and tried to sell me a new radio for over £1000 - probably more than the car is worth! I asked that they just disable the alarm, but they refused to do that. Then a local garage said that Highbury Audio might be able to disable the alarm for me …. And this experience has been amazing! Leonard is not only skilful and knowledgeable, but he must also be one of the kindest and most patient men in the business. He not only spent time checking the system but also replaced the radio for a fraction of the price stated by TrustFord and the new radio also has some ‘bells & whistles' compared to the old one! And I still have the alarm, which now will only go off at appropriate times. This was a great experience - his staff are lovely too - and my neighbours and I are all extremely grateful that we can now sleep peacefully in our beds at night! Brenda D

   There's many positives to highlight about the experience I had with Finsbury Car Audio. Starting from our initial conversation on WhatsApp I highlighted what equipment I currently had installed, what the issues were and what I was after. My vehicle was assessed by Michael and we discussed options available to get the most out of my budget. I trusted Leonard given his experience and left full discretion to build a suitable audio platform within the budget I had...which in all fairness was lower than what it needed to be, but even then, what Leonard managed to get out of it was impressive. Incredibly fair with pricing and I know first hand how much grief these old cars can give people and the time it takes to work through it all. Michael truly did well and I am grinning ear to ear listening to my songs now. Thank you once again, pleasure to do business and I hope to return for further upgrades in due course. Shay

   Second time using Finsbury car audio after a few years. Previous music system had no issues, just change of car. Leonard and Michael are both very nice and very good at what they do. They kept me updated what was happening and also made recommendations that would be better suited for my car. The system they put in, massive upgrade to what was in before and the sound quality is impressive. They also installed a rear camera at the same time as the car play and all professionally done. Very thing works how it should work and camera automatically engages while reversing. Very pleased with the overall look!

   Leonard the legend, having shopped around to a couple of places around East London, my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised to stumble across Leonard and his team. Leonard has bags of knowledge and was a delight to discuss what we were planning to do on the Saab 900, concerned as it was a an old car, Leonard took great care and consideration when discussing the model of the audio he was going to place in the car. I would highly recommend this place, coming up to its 35th anniversary, a true craftsman of his trade, you won’t go wrong with Leonard J Senior III. Knowledgeable, great value, and all in all a local institution. Look no further for your car audio needs!!

   DO NOT USE : Today I was desperate to sort out my reverse camera, so I called them and they said come in today, so I went. The technician is very friendly but unfortunately lack knowledge. He worked on the system for 3 hours and still not sorted out the problem. As someone else said the guy who owns the business is very rude and very aggressive, as if I was the one who was working on my car and not sorting it out, he was telling me off, they charge £75 an hour, I was charge £150 but still no reverse camera. He is very rude and a con. How can you charge for something which you cant fix. Will never ever use them again.

   I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to fix/change their radio. They go above and beyond to make sure you get your moneys worth and are happy with the outcome. I was quoted a very good price and couldn’t be happier with my new radio. I will be heading back there really soon to get my speakers fixed!

   I initially bought a double din unit for my ML320 from another retailer, but it didn't fit. I called Finsbury Car Audio for general advice seeing as they were local and possibly if I could visit and he could check out my problem. Leonard was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he was first and foremost a genuinely nice person who gave his honest opinion. Leonard was super patient with me but recommended I go with a slightly cheaper option and I'd still be able to fit all my needs (steering wheel controls, bluetooth audio etc.) I couldn't recommend this shop enough, they know their stuff and actually do a good job. If you're local or far, support a family business and try these guys first.
