Great range of products, the staff are friendly & helpful, good prices on most things, look for the offer items 2 for £x, these can save you a fortune on your Christmas shopping
Ordered items online for Christmas and was missing four of them, after informing Smyths they told me they were delivered and refused to help further yet I am still without the items for my children.. I will not be using this service again.
Disgusting about charging people a £2 fee if not collected in TWO days. 4-5 days I understand! 2 is beyond a joke!!! And I’m sure it’s easily missed by thousands of customers all over the country, even for items less than £10 too it’s pathetic. Service is always a bit of a joke in the Doncaster store all they care about is the £££. I’m sure they won’t mind but just lost a reasonable amount of custom as I won’t be shopping there again. Prefer to help the smaller toy shops that give a damn about customer service.
Can’t thank the lady who served me enough for exchanging my daughters roller skates as time limit had gone over but due to my mum passing away just before Christmas suddenly I didn’t get round to exchanging for bigger size! Very helpful and kind to me! After having bad experiences in smyths several years ago they have got lovely caring staff! Thank you again my 10 year old will finally get to use her roller skates after bad year we’ve had this year
Great range of toys, staff were lovely. The issue I had at this store was the click and collect section. There were no room to queue and wasn't that clear that 1 till was for returns and the other click and collect, so you had people queuing in the wrong line or no line at all.
Shocking customer service. Purchased a Baby Annabelle online for my daughter which had a fault. From speaking with the online chat I was told that it had to go back to the store. I was given a replacement which was all good, when I got the new doll home there was a fault with the leg where the stitching was damaged before first use. I was told that it was a my word versus the stores, how can that be possible when it had never been played with. Obviously I quoted the consumer rights as this doll was purchased less then 12 months ago and had clearly never been played with. Be careful with this store as they don't seem to be happy to accept returns. Maybe Smyths need to consider there advertising as the extended returns policy in place for Christmas is clearly a gimmick.
This store of Smyths Toys is a spacious place with a massive selection of toys and everything that makes kids happy and wanting to go there. Great selection of car chairs, cot beds, bikes, rollers, toys for girls and boys, toddlers and older age of children too. Due to the great space most of the bikes and remote controlled cars can be tested and kids can have a trial ride before you'd buy them. Will definitely come back and would recommend if you are looking to buy toys.
