I love extra life. Mike and Rachel bring gaming and good food together which is super cozy. In the winter I like to bring my own blanket to add to the cozy vibes. If you are coming regularly the membership is definitely worth it to get food discount and access to members events. Also you don’t have to think about table charges.
A great place that we are already thinking about coming back to in the future. We had coffees and breakfast all while watching Saturday morning cartoons and playing some retro games. Really friendly people good vegetarian options (had a vegetarian sausage cob). Thank you ❤️
Excellent food, great selection, lots of veggie and vegan options, affordable. Lots of game choices, really friendly staff who were more than happy to help advise on game choices etc Would definitely come again!
We went to a gaming tournament here last night - a fundraiser for the Sheffield Cats Shelter. What a great discovery! Amazed by the variety of old games on offer. Lovely staff too.
I found this place through a deal on Wowcher which I didn't buy in the end but still wanted to visit. Didn't leave myself enough time to eat and play. I thought it would be free to play while we ate but that's not the case. If you have enough time to pay to play then it's worth it. Treat it as a meal and activity and reserve enough time to play some games. Due to covid it said you can only play one game (hopefully not the case now as I know my daughter would play for 5 mins and want to move on) the menu is amazing. Massive selection of amazing, home cooked food. Specials menu also. Shakes and deserts. Brilliant space with local arts for sale.
Amazing place in Sheffield to visit. Such a wide range of games to play and great food and drinks to have as you're playing them. Really good value for money and wonderful friendly service every time we go. Would recommend to everyone.
Really great place. It's open later than most coffee places too! Loads of retro games and arcades. A good selection of cake and a decent coffee. The owners are really friendly and knowledgeable. I was made to feel very welcome and had a great time.
Extra life gaming lounge is such a friendly great place to meet people... Mike and Rachel are so welcoming and friendly... Great place for a drink and something to eat... Burgers are top notch... I highly recommend for becoming a member for the discount on food and drink and other great things they offer.... Definitely one of my favourite places to go in Sheffield....
Really nice and unique cafe, plenty of choice of gaming devices to play, the menu has a decent variety and reasonable priced. The only down side was the fact that they missed a few items, and wasn't willing to sort their mistake. Could be a miscue in communication when ordering. Definitely recommend and come again when Pompey back in the city.
