It is a very Lovely and very very lively place to get your nails done. Got my nails done today and I loved the banter and jokes going around, all of the workers are very friendly and kind ❤️
I don't usually leave reviews but this was an absolutley awful experience. I visited three days before my appointment to discuss the design, price, and details. Everything seemed fine, and I booked. On the day, I arrived early, but the previous client didn’t finish until 15 minutes past my slot. The nail tech didn’t actually start with me until around 5:20pm, nearly an hour later. She spent about 15 minutes getting advice on the design, then kept going in and out of the room while I sat waiting at her table. Then came the surprises. Removing my old set was suddenly an extra £20 (normally £3–8 elsewhere). I also asked to keep my nail length but reshape with a slight 2mm of acrylic, something every other nail tech I’ve been to does so the acrylics don’t end up thick at the tips and you can actually pick things up. I was told this would count as a “full extension,” also cost extra, and that there wasn’t enough time to do it. I’d booked a two-hour slot, and it wasn’t my fault they started late and were now worried about closing time. None of these add-ons or costs were mentioned at my visit or even before starting my nails. And even if I paid the difference, she said she couldn’t do the design I wanted anyway because of time — again, because of their delay. By the time we came to that conclusion, she’d already removed my polish and filed down one of my nails, even though I’d said I wanted to keep the length. By that point, I was beyond disappointed, and the drill she chose to use wasn’t exactly reassuring for how my nails would turn out. I decided to leave rather than waste more time or money. The least she could’ve done was smooth out the polish removal or at least apologise for the inconvenience. Instead, I left with uneven, hillbilly-looking nails and zero actual service. I wasted my time travelling in a storm, delayed nearly an hour to be told they couldn’t do them, and still left with worse nails than I came in with. Completely unprofessional, overpriced, and disorganised. I honestly can’t believe I almost spent £100 there.
all my nails ALWAYS come off within 3 weeks maybe less while being so careful. first time with Chelsie and my nails have lasted 4 weeks while surviving a house move, a holiday and multiple nights out and only one has come off and the growth is insane. my nails always feel brittle and snap off while the nail comes off, my nails feel so strong and well taken care of. thank you so much queen x
I got my nails done here a couple of weeks ago - gel removal and reapply. The big price list in the window shows that this costs £25 (£5 removal + £20 gel nails). When the treatment was done, the nail technician asked me for £30. When I questioned this, she mumbled that there had been a price increase. This is absolutely fine, but she should have told me before the treatment and made sure that was ok. As it stands, I felt a bit misled and wouldn’t like anyone else to feel the same. There should be openness about the price from the offset, as once the treatment had been done I couldn’t exactly reverse it.
I’ve had two sets of acrylic nails done here and they were perfect. Staff were so welcoming and talkative and the whole shop has an amazing atmosphere making it so enjoyable to be there couldn’t have asked for a better experience highly recommend ❤️
It’s my fourth time coming to this salon and my second time with Takisha. So happy with my nails they’re so gorg. Takisha is so so lovely and took so much care when doing my nails. Will continue to go back to this salon and will be recommending to my friends!!
My favourite place and my favourite girls. I’ve been going to this nail salon religiously since I moved to Liverpool 2 years ago and would recommend them over every other place in Liverpool. These girls deal with me getting horrendously long acrylic nails and can do any design asked, they’re so unbelievably talented.
