First time visit . Notes: postcode was direct to the cafe of your walking starting point , better key-in Longshaw carpark . £6 for 4hrs , coins on machines or card with service centre , enough spaces . Before start your journey can use free toilet at the cafe , very clean ! Or have a Hot drink before start . Relaxing walk , not hard level! Very clean natural place . Good direction. Really enjoy .

Fantastic place to visit for all the family. We parked in the car park and did a lovely 8mjle loop route finishing off in the Longshaw cafe. I recommend you get to the car park early to avoid it being full in peak season.

Perfect stop during your walk and thanks to National Trust to made that happened. You can bring your best mates specially dogs because they deserve a nice walk as well but must be on leads. The cafe is great addition in this area. Choose your walking gear properly for rough ground on the walks. Even good for kids as they have play or learning area. Beautiful scenic area full of wild flowers and best for bird watching. Parking available. If your member of National Trust then its free for you.

Wonderful place, thanks to the staffs and the volunteers. All three routes are great. You may encounter cattle, talking to them is nice, they will do their best to do the eye contact. But more Importantly, follow the rules about the grazing cattle on the sign and mind the “soft stones”.

We thought this was well worth visiting. Great walks of varying distances and all very well signposted. Large cafe was being refurbished, but the cafe kiosk was open and is good too. Free parking for Nat Trust members otherwise it's £6 a day. On site WC was very clean & modern. Usual NT info centre with helpful volunteers. Looked as if regular visitors/walkers knew where to park around the estate perimeters for free. Would visit again if in the area.

Great place for a walk around, in the a beautiful part of the peak District. Lots to do and see around areas with lots of walks outside the estate. There is a great cafe on site and toilets
