Newly discovered this place when traveling home from Manchester Piccadilly. Went into there to wait for our train but decided to have food too. Food came out quickly and yet was still hot and it tasted great! Great to be able to order from the table with no app or downloads but also no queuing! Shoutout to Gemma who served us, she was amazing and so friendly!

Hands down, The best Flat White I've ever had at a casual dining place in. my. life. Thanks, Judith. Top quality breakfast, generous portion, eggs cooked to perfection. Efficient, friendly service at the till. Nathan, your desert recommendation was spot-on, "Melting Chocolate Fondant"! Attentive table service by Lexi, with a smile. I've been spoilt with a team of great people at the Mill. Thank you!

Iβm a regular here whenever Iβm waiting for a train at Manchester Piccadilly, but I usually order other dishes. This time I tried the pizza and to be honest, I was expecting a generic, low-budget airport-style pie. I couldnβt have been more wrong. The pizza was surprisingly good quality with a perfect crispy and thin crust. The service was lovely, as always, Jude was smiling and attentive, and the team made sure I had everything I needed. Given my frequent business trips throughout Piccadilly, Iβll definitely be back for more.

My compliments to Richard for being so approachable and friendly. He was attentive and interactive as well with the tables. Food is pretty good for a station eatery. Also a good variety of beers available on tap too. For me, it has to be Guiness on tap when in the UK. Itβs been 20 years since I had one. Perfect!!

I had the steak and ale pie, mash, and peas. It was delicious. It wasn't very crowded. I was able to get some work done. Outlets are available at every table. There is contactless ordering everywhere so there's really no interaction with wait staff unless the order is wrong. They came by to clean the plates away but that's about it.

The Mill is a fantastic place with a great atmosphere, whether itβs just passing in waiting for a train, or going in for a longer period. I would 100% recommend the food too as itβs tasty and really reasonably priced. The staff are also outstanding, they are always so helpful and quick with your food/drinks orders. They really are a credit to the place. Itβs also very clean which is even better. I would 100% recommend coming here, you wonβt be disappointed.

Don't bother! Stopped here for breakfast before train with my partner and definitely regret our decision... First of all the table wasn't clean. Received food way before drinks, and wasn't even worth the wait, coffee was AWFUL!! :/ Very overpriced, poor quality. Hash browns were dry and had black bits of potato in. And they filled the avocado smash with corriander feeling pretty ripped off! Not even the staff seemed happy. Definitely won't be back. AVOID!

I couldn't scan the QR code at the table to order (I just had a blank page), so went to the bar to order my food. The server told me I had to use the QR scanner, not try and take a photo "I did!" I said (probably rather acidly). "oh" he said. The menus on the table list the hot drinks, but don't give a price, so I also had to ask for that information. My cheesy chips were 'garnished' with a drizzle of cheese as though it had come from a bottle, I couldn't even taste it. Not much added value for an extra 79p on top of ordinary chips. I'm somebody who likes unsalted fries at McDonalds as I don't like too much salt, but their potatoes taste good. I had to put ketchup and vinegar on yours to get some flavour. The Earl Grey tea came with sugar but I wasn't asked if I'd like either milk or lemon with it (I got neither). You could learn about better service and quality of food and drinks from somewhere like Betty's Tea Rooms in Yorkshire - you may have to pay a bit extra, but it's actually better value - and the staff smile and don't patronise you.
