   I am a doctor, so urgently needed my car which had failed to start, forcing me onto public transport two days before Christmas. I went to this garage as I was desperate and left thinking my only issue was a flat battery which I replaced. So far, so good. Got to work the next day and, at the end of the day, the car wouldn't start again. I thought my problem was solved so hadn't bought the booster and had to go all the way home across London to fetch it. I thought it was a major electrical issue and wondered how I would get to and from work. 3 days later (it was random stop/start over Christmas) I took it to my regular mechanic who immediately spotted a loose positive terminal connection to the battery. He tightened this and the car has been going perfectly since. It was clear the staff who replaced the battery could not be bothered to tighten the terminal connection sufficiently, just left it hanging loose, costing me three days of hell. I spent £128 to buy and fit that battery. I was given no warranty for it. The old Bosch battery I had cost me £70 (I've never heard of the brand I now have NAPA) and wish I had gone elsewhere. I think they saw a single woman and assumed they could get away with doing the minimum. I won't use this garage again.

   Excellent service today from Aboo and his team. They took my car in at very short notice, fixed the flat, check the rest and gave me two new tyres for a very good price. Highly recommended

   I had a fully punctured tyre and went to Kwik Fit for a replacement. I asked the manager how old my other tyres were and he showed me the record on his system which said I had one tyre that was 9 years old and two that were 3.5 years old. However, his records also showed that those two tyres had been put in by KwikFit in Lissenden Gardens in 2023, i.e. less than 3.5 years ago. Which means I paid full price for new tyres but Kwik Fit fitted my car with second hand ones. When I confronted him about this the manager was evasive and did not have a good explanation to offer. I feel taken advantage of and I will be looking for another garage to have new tyres fitted from now on.

   Dropped various cars over to the garage. Always says a hour even if it takes 10m. Nationwide garage that has a reputable name. Guy at reception needs to know having a smile on his face wont hurt his pockets. Lads in the garage do the job good.

   I dropped off my car at 9am and I was told it would take an hour to do the work which is exactly what happened. I was called by the manager of the garage who explained why the tyre had a slow puncture. The process was quick, painless and professional. While the tyre was being fixed I went for a very pleasant walk and coffee in Parliament Hill.

   I visited KwikFit - Lower Hampstead today and had a generally positive experience. The staff were all very nice and polite, and the service itself was good. However, I did notice that the receptionist seemed quite busy and wasn't particularly welcoming. It is a Saturday and he was the only available staff member as a receptionist, so I can understand that he may have been overwhelmed. On the downside, I did find that the quote provided by KwikFit was very expensive compared to other known garages. Additionally, I was asked to change one tyre that I had only replaced a few months ago because the manufactured date was considered too old, even though the tyre tread was still new. This was disappointing, as it felt like an unnecessary expense. Overall, I would still recommend this location for its quality service and friendly staff, but would advise caution when it comes to pricing and repairs/replacement recommendations.

   I called Kwik Fit on Lissenden Gardens this morning to see if I could get assistance with a flat tyre, I was advised that I would not be able to get any help until after Christmas. After explaining my desperation, I was advised to visit the branch but will have to leave my car until a Mechanic could squeeze me in. I got a call to come and collect my vehicle after 5 hours which I am eternally grateful for, a massive thank you to Darren and his team for helping our family in need for the Christmas. I would recommend anyone to visit as the customer service is amazing and the guys go above and beyond to help.

   An extremely helpful, polite and friendly team who did an excellent job repairing a tyre/alloy. Very knowledgeable and they put right a problem caused by a previous garage. I would definitely recommend them.
