The worst cut, color and style I have ever had. And I have lived all over the world. The senior stylist/colorist, Paul, hacked at my hair even though I had explained what I wanted. He then didn't pull the color through my hair, leaving that for a junior team member to do. And she left large swathes of hair uncolored. But I paid for a senior coloirst?! He didn't listen or understand what I needed for my fringe cut. My fringe was not cut and it was a disaster. My hair was cut within 2 minures. Total hack job. He asked several times what I wanted and he still didn't cut it correctly. He was also horribly unprofessional talking about another client, calling her a "pain in the arse" because she simply asked if he could dry her hair before he started my coloring treatment. £145 not well spent. Horrible experience. Terrible haircut which I had to get another hair salon correct in Flrorida. Next time I am home I will be going bqck to Revvie in Pensby for half the price and a much more intimate and lovely experience.

I have been getting my haircut at the Heswall Collinge & Co salon for several years. My boundless thanks to Beth and her tremendous team for their brilliant work. If sunshine were to take human form then it would be the staff at Collinge & Co Heswall. Beth and her team are very friendly, supremely talented, and accommodating. In the words of Tina Turner, they are "simply the best."

A big thank you to Beth for my full-head of highlights and cut and blow dry! So pleased with it! Such a lovely place to go as everyone is so kind and welcoming!

Ghastly experience. Factory farmed not free-range kind of place. Just rows of disinterested looking hairdressers and not a smile anywhere. Noisy. The ambiance was not relaxing and the wash n blow dry I had was truly VILE. Arriving on a blustery day, no one offered to take my coat. No dairy-free milk available so tea/coffee not an option; just a glass of water. Not good customer service! The backwash was fine but when my blow dry began the stylist started talking NON STOP. I could see that she was drying my hair on very high heat and using the wrong size brush overall. She told me all about her Xmas plans/ new house/ family. Et cetera…Looking in the mirror, I could see my blow dry was a shambles but what could I do?! I’m from central london and Daniel Galvin was my go to salon for years; I know what a good salon should feel like, even before the styling etc has begun. This is NOT it! My head throbbed from the ghastliness of this place. A salon should be a temple of calm, a place where one is cosseted pampered and where one knows the result will be great. This salon is resting on laurel leaves. I allowed the rain to wash the blow dry out. Good website but that’s about all. So, I left this place with a headache and a frazzled looking blow dry. It wasn’t expensive, just gross. However, every penny counts and I’m calling this place out because this particular blow dry was for my anniversary and therefore? UNFORGIVABLE. It’s scary to think that the stylist I had actually teaches blowdrying to the other salons in the street. How do I know? She told me so! Anyway, at last the experience ended and I collected my coat, paid and vowed never to return. I mean, it’s only a wash n blow dry but I’d expect this kind of service in a back street salon in Tooting. No, actually I’d expect more. The Shirley temple curls disappeared as the rain worked its magic. My hair is long and luscious but even if it were short I would expect a professional attitude and this salon doesn’t have it. Please do not bother writing a long-winded reply to this review. You deserved the lonely little one star.

Have been so disappointed with the salon. There have been issues with 3 out of my last four appointments. One was cancelled last minute a few hours before I was due. Two where I’ve been booked for roots and foils and I’ve arrived to say they only booked the root colour. Each time I’ve found the staff unhelpful and keen to blame me. I had a sense they were doing me a favour letting me have an appointment at all. Today I left in tears having voted with my feet and left without anything being done. It’s supposed to be a treat!

The coloring was fine, when I showed her the picture what I wanted , of a model with curly hair she said that she couldn't do it but my hair is naturally wavey, I also said not to blow dry it straight but she did, I'm very disappointed and upset that I didn't get what I wanted for my £120. I will not be returning and will not recommend to any of my friends and family, very unprofessional
