I unfortunately found myself in need of the services of Irwin Mitchell Solicitors and had a brilliant service from the team there. I was helped by Shazia Ashraf a solicitor who kept me informed, gave me advice, talked through the documents line by line to ensure I understood them and flagged anything I disagreed with or wanted changed. If you find yourself needing to get advice on settlements from your employer, even if you think the offer is fair, I would highly recommend you use their services. Shazia Ashraf went through my document with a fine toothcomb ensuring a watertight agreement that saw me walk away with the best settlement I could achieve in my position. If you are worried about the costs even if you just get them to review I would do that, this is the basic I went for and I'm sure if there were any grounds to go further they would highlight that for you and always be on your side.
