   The Bed-shop Pontefract - Always polite friendly staff, no pushy sales people. Purchased a mattress & was advised according to our needs re quality & firmness, I have to say it’s perfect. The delivery drivers were also very polite & rang the day before to see if that was suitable, they rang on the day to say they were 30 mins away. Nothing was too much trouble as to where I wanted the mattress & they even carried it upstairs ensuring it was where I wanted it. From start to finish it was a first class service. Not my first purchase & won’t be my last. Good Quality ,Service from start to finish & value for money.

   Just had second delivery of wardrobes ordered set got excellent price went to look round no hassle staff just left me to look round at my leisure lifted upstairs fully assembled wardrobes was kept up to date on delivery was told 6 weeks delivered in 3 weeks ordered second set of wardrobes for spare bedroom again excellent service and delivery 3 weeks again love my new wardrobes would definitely purchase from here again worth going for look as they have sofas and others furniture as well

   My daughter purchased a mattress from this company last week and was recently told she was getting made redundant and would have to move back in with us. We contacted the bed shop to ask if they could cancel her purchase due to this issue, unfortunately we were told no refunds and no goodwill gesture would be offered under any circumstances. I understand they have legally done nothing wrong however ethically I think this is very poor and have absolutely no empathy to customers. Make sure you understand all terms and conditions before handing over money and make sure you get a firm delivery date as once they have your money you will get no refund regardless of the situation. Even as a goodwill gesture to try and keep future customers or customers from word of mouth is no consideration. Be aware before making any purchase about this

   I ordered a wardrobe 13 May 2021 was told 8-12 weeks due to back log, I excepted that, due to covid, Iv never had any contact from them with up date, I called them 3 times, over the last 4 weeks, to now be told my delivery would be 2nd of September which will be 16 weeks! I had dismantled my old wardrobe 10 weeks in, in preparation for delivery. customer service has been shocking the inconvenience this has cause goes without saying but no apology,EDIT... Thanks to Rob the area manager this issue has been sorted thankyou Rob top man
